Please expound on this so I know exactly what you mean
You've expounded that the kinghood and priesthood and a holy nation calling are only for the believing Jews, right?

And likewise expounded, they shall reign with Christ in Heaven for a thousand years, right?

To Peter who's writing to them, they're no strangers in Christ but fellow brethren.

Only they're referred as, 'to the strangers scattered', when Peter yet have not met and acquainted with these believers.
Some say the strangers are Gentiles but I say Peter is writing to the believing remnant of Israel which could include Gentiles who believed the preaching of Peter.....he is not writing to the church the body of Christ

Yes the believing remnant of Israel will be priests and a holy nation......Gentiles can believe according to Acts 10 and be in the remnant.....but I dont know what role believing Gentiles will have in the kingdom
No they wont reign with Christ in heaven (the body of Christ will) they will reign on earth with Christ for a thousand years

.
The night was black, rain fallin' down
Looked for my baby, she's nowhere around.
Traced her footsteps down to the shore,
'fraid she's gone forever more.

I looked at the sea and it seemed to say:
I took your baby from you away.
I heard a voice cryin' in the deep:
Come join me, baby, in my endless sleep.

Endless Sleep, Jody Reynolds, 1957

A useful story, relative to the sleep of death, is told at John 11:1-44 wherein
one of Jesus' friends had passed away, and in John 11:11 Jesus said of him:

"Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up."

Now; I have read that story several times in as many years and not once
have I come away from it assuming Jesus was speaking of soul sleep; not
when the entire focus is upon Lazarus' corpse. In point of fact, Jesus
deliberately delayed his journey to Lazarus' home to make sure he was so
dead that there could not be even the slightest glimmer of sensible doubt
about it.

"But, Lord --said Martha, the sister of the dead man-- by this time there is a
bad odor, for he has been there four days." (John 11:39)

The prophet Daniel spoke of the sleep of death.

"Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to
everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt." (Dan 12:2)

Those sleepers Daniel spoke of are not soul sleepers 'cause as far as I know,
God didn't predict Adam's soul would return to the dust because his soul
didn't come from thence rather, it came from the breath of life (Gen 2:7)
viz: it was Adam's body that came from the dust and was to eventually
return there. (Gen 3:19)

Anyway, point being: Jody Reynold's best girl didn't end up in an endless
sleep like he thought because all human remains are on track to be
eventually restored to life for one reason or another. The sleep of death is
called sleep because the first time around isn't final.

1 Thessalonians 4:
16. For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Here Paul did not mentioned specifically about the remnant of Jews, even the scattered ones in Gentile nations. At His return the dead in Christ shall be the Jew and Gentile Christians as the one body of Christ to rise first. Since the beginning until now, not any of the dead Apostles nor the Jew or Gentile church saints in Christ have risen yet, period

17. Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Paul writes this letter to the Thessalonians, predominantly Gentile Christians, compare to the scattered remnant few Jew Christians in their midst. He predicted at that time itself about they including Him, which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with the risen dead in the clouds. This is apparently based on the Apostles then itself were predicting, Jesus is coming soon.

And when he says, 'we', he meant neither Jews or Gentiles, but 'equal' and in 'one body of Christ' saints in Christ's Kingdom on earth. Moreover historically such an obvious event worldwide being caught up together in the clouds have not taken place yet.

Now if Doug as usual wants to put a spin on it by saying it specifically referring only to the remnant of Jews and not Gentiles?

i disagree strongly and take no part on his 'twisted' version of the Gospel.

Shalom in the name of Jesus Christ.

What a 'spin' and a 'twisted' version of the Gospel, where Jew and Gentile saints blessings are 'divided' as heirs of the same promise?

right.......this resurrection is only for the church the body of Christ which I believe takes place before the tribulation
Peter and the twelve and their disciples will be resurrected at the end of the tribulation along with old testament saints

Not this time
The remnant resurrects at the end of the tribulation when Christ returns and sets up the kingdom on earth

How silly can one get.

The first resurrection is of all who are dead in Christ, and too ones living and remain during the reign of anti-Christ.

Beginning from the Apostles, the remnant Jews saved by grace to the Gentiles as the one body of Christ until the reign of anti-Christ.

Because since then until now, Christ is only the firstfruit of resurrection, and non other after Him.

The first resurrection will take place after three and a half years of Tribulation and during the reign of anti-Christ.

For the body of Christ worldwide will undergo persecution under anti-Christ and will be killed for their faith.

They will be beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of GOD, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their forehead, or in their hands.
Peter and the twelve and their disciples will be resurrected at the end of the tribulation along with old testament saints
This is incorrect and absurd.

If the Old Testament saints have not risen, how come Jesus happened to meet Moses and Elijah in their angelic likeness form?

The remnant of Jews saved by Grace, Paul speaks about are those since Christ to his era and forth with the Gentiles.

They will all be taken up at the first resurrection, while all Israel shall be saved towards the end of the Tribulation.

Not sure what you are saying
The believing remnant of Israel are in Christ by the preaching of Jesus and the twelve and were operating during Paul's ministry......some were his helpers.......they will be resurrected at the end of the tribulation at the first resurrection (Rev 20:4-6)

You love to copy and paste.

In any of the scripture quote you've posted, there's no mention of 'remnant of Israel'

As i've testified, you're putting a spin on things and heading on a wrong direction.

Peter is writing to Jews who were scattered into these regions upon persecution as seen in this verse........[1Pe 2:5 KJV] 5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ........and in this verse .[1Pe 2:9 KJV] 9 But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:......................Israel was said to be priests .and a holy nation............[Exo 19:5-6 KJV] 5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth [is] mine: 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These [are] the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
John 6:43-45:
Jesus therefore answered and said to them, “Do not murmur among yourselves. 44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me should draw him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 45 It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught of God.’ Therefore everyone who hears from the Father, and has learned, comes to Me.

Now, Jesus makes it very , very simple for us to understand. "EVERYONE" is everyone. Every person that has become saved will be resurrected "AT THE LAST DAY".

Revelation 10:5-7:
And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created the heaven and the things in it, the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there should be no more delay; 7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

The seventh ( perfectly complete) angel "sounds" the seventh and last trumpet and the mystery of God is finished at the last day of this world.

[John 3:16 KJV] "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."............All could believe on the Lord Jesus
[John 3:18 KJV] "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."............all who would believe on Jesus would have eternal life. To believe on him meant to believe in his name. To believe on his name was to believe he was the Christ, the Son of God. These are the ones who will be raised on the last day. The last day is the day of the Lord at which time Christ will set up his millennial kingdom..............[Matthew 24:29 KJV] "Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:".................Abraham and the OT saints will be resurrected to enter the earthly kingdom.............[Matthew 8:11 KJV] "And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven."

Jew and Gentile who believed on Christ along with the OT saints will be raised on the last day and will reign with him a thousand years in the kingdom on earth............[Revelation 20:6 KJV] "Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."...........This doesnt include us, the body of Christ. We will be raised in the "rapture"

After the thousand years the unbekievers will be raised.....................[Revelation 20:5 KJV] "But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection."

John 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Jesus has promised that by believing in him we shall live, never to die. There is no caveat here to the promise of eternal life, to give it, then take it away. There is nothing for us to do to know we have life everlasting but to believe. It is all by Christ Jesus.

Martha believed on Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God unto eternal life (John 3:16 John 20:31). Martha confessed that Jesus is Christ, the Son of God according to the requirements of the covenant for blessing (1 Kings 8:35-36 Matthew 10:32 Romans 10:9 1 john 4:15 5:5 Revelation 3:5).

There are two resurrections:

Acts 24:15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

There will be a resurrection of the just and the unjust.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Paul is speaking of a mystery resurrection that was kept secret until revealed thru Paul. This resurrection is only for the body of Christ and the resurrection of the just and unjust is not in view.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The resurrection of those in the body of Christ occurs before the tribulation ( 1 Thessalonians 1:10). They will be resurrected and be given positions in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3 Ephesians 2:6).

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The first resurrection is of the old testament saints, the kingdom new testament saints, and the tribulation saints; the first resurrection occurs after the tribulation, at the Lord's coming.

Those in Christ are the kingdom saints who believed on Jesus before the dispensation of grace and the body of Christ was revealed to Paul. The kingdom saints will enter into the promised kingdom on earth and reign with Christ.

The old testament saints are resurrected as well in the first resurrection and will enter the kingdom. It can be seen that Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will be raised at this time to enter the kingdom (Matthew 8:11).

The saints who die in the tribulation are likewise included in the first resurrection. They will be raised at the coming of the Lord Jesus and as stated in Revelation 20:4, will enter the Davidic kingdom on earth and reign with Christ.

Revelation 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The rest of the dead are all the unbelievers from Adam onward.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The believing remnant of Israel, Jew and Gentile, consisting of the old testament saints, the kingdom saints, and the tribulation saints will enter the kingdom. The Israel of God will be priests unto God and shall reign with Christ.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The unbelievers are the rest of the dead and are risen last after the thousand year reign of Christ to stand before the great white throne according to Revelation 20:5 ; this is the resurrection of the unjust. The second death is being thrown into the lake of fire.

The resurrection of the just is referred to as being at "the last day" in John. The resurrection of the just believers occurs in the last day, which is the end of the tribulation; at the end of the tribulation Christ returns.
If the tribulation saints are included in the first resurrection(which we know they are) then the first resurrected must occur AFTER the tribulation.

Yes very good point

[Revelation 20:4 KJV] "And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."................these are the saints beheaded in the tribulation

[Revelation 20:6 KJV] "Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years."...........these are all the ot saints and saints who believed the name of Christ

The OT saints were a part of the first fruit resurrection:

Mt 27:51-52 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

I dont think so.
For one thing not all came out..........[John 5:28 KJV] "Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,"
I think it was a initial fulfillment of Ezekiel............Ezekiel 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.............If Israel believed they would be brought into their land after the tribulation

True, only the OT saints came out. The rest of the wicked will be raised at the second resurrection.
