John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

To see the kingdom of God a man must be born again.

The kingdom being spoken of is the prophetic Davidic kingdom on earth, in which, Christ will reign along with the believing remnant, the Israel of God (Exodus 19:5-6 Luke 12:32 Psalm 22:28 Galatians 6:16).

To enter into the kingdom a man must be born of water and of the Spirit. Israel had to believe on the name of Jesus; believe he was the Messiah, the Son of God (John 20:31 1 John 5:13). Jesus is saying that Israel had to repent and confess their sins as a nation and each one be water baptized and receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).

The Holy Spirit, under the fulfillment of the new covenant, will cleanse Israel with water and put a new spirit in them; he will cause them to walk in his statutes, keep his judgments, and do them (Ezekiel 36:24-28).

Jesus in saying "Ye must be born again" speaks of the nation of Israel.

Actually Jesus had it right in Luke 17:20-21. He was very clear where the kingdom of God resides. It does not come with observation, it is with you. It isnt a place that we go to and observe just as he dais it isnt, it is with you, or is supposed to be just as it was within him.

Not many actually follow Jesus in what he said, they make their own rules for a heaven and hell.

[Luk 17:23-24 KJV] 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after [them], nor follow [them]. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
BUT then Jesus says they will SEE him physically

We are to follow Pail who follows Christ.....................[1Co 11:1 KJV] 1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also [am] of Christ.

Most do follow Paul instead of Jesus. I do not follow anyone except who Jesus said he was in God and I should have the same in me Who was in him. Paul used trickery to get people to follow him in his ways and even stated that he did in 2 Cor 12:16 Be that as it may, I have not been a burden to you. Yet, crafty fellow that I am, I caught you by trickery!

Paul had me under his spell for many years until I started listening to God Himself and came and open in me who He is and all of His heavens just as He did in Adam, in Gen 3;22, and Abraham, and Moses and Mary, and Jesus in Matt 3:16 and 120 in an upper room, no different at all.

Jesus didnt need any man teach him nor do I, God Himself is quite capable of conveying His message , all I have to do is listen to Him instead of man. And Jesus said in John 16:23. And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. I did and God did.

Jesus is my way, not Paul or any other. For most -- Jesus isnt good enough for information that you may be like he was in the Father, perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect Matt 5:48, so they turn to someone they can relate to as a sinner such as Paul said he was instead.

One day I asked an experienced Jehovah's Witness at my job if he was born
of the Spirit in accord with John 3:3-8. He answered no; and added that he
didn't expect to undergo the Spirit birth in either this life or the next because
his hope is a kingdom on Earth rather than up in Heaven.

The JW was somehow unaware that Jesus' discussion with Nicodemus didn't
pertain to a kingdom above, rather, to a kingdom below.

John 3:12 . . . If I have told you earthly things and yet you do not believe,
how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?

It's both tragic and ironic that the Watchtower Society's rank and file
missionaries go worldwide advertising a kingdom that they themselves will
never be allowed to enter-- not because they didn't work hard enough to
deserve it, but simply because they were led to believe themselves exempt
from the Spirit birth.

FAQ: How might an interested person get in on this particular requirement?

REPLY: Find some privacy; anyplace will do. Cover your face with your
hands-- it will give you a sense of connection --and in your own words, out
loud or under your breath, tell God you're pretty sure you'll never be
someone He would like to associate with in your natural condition. Then tell
Him you'd like to undergo the birth His son spoke of in John 3:3-8

Perhaps, because like you, they also limit who can be born again to a certain small group. You are both terribly mistaken.
You both marvel at being born anew.
There is no true believer in Christ who is not born again. It is the work of the Holy Spirit within the individual. It is the a spiritual rebirth and transformation that occurs when an individual truly accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This transformation is absolutely essential for entering the Kingdom of God and is a major theme in the not only the teachings of Jesus, but also in the writings of the New Testament. I daresay the NT isn't comprehensible without an understanding of being born anew. So much of the NT is speaking to it!
The new birth is a profound & essential part of being a Christian. It's a non-negotiable. It is the beginning of a new life in Christ. It's the divine work of the Holy Spirit, resulting in a transformed heart and a renewed relationship with God!!
Believers are empowered to live according to God's will. It is not an instantaneous observable one time outward change, but the process in the life of the believer as we are being made holy also known as sanctification. We are sanctified, but we are being sanctified. Just as we are saved and are being saved. This is the process of working out our salvation- for it is God working IN US. We are given the power where sin does not dominate over us -we put to death the sins of the flesh by the Spirit and walk in new life.
So don't marvel! This is the work of God in the believer. It is available to whosoever believes. Jew and Gentile alike. Don't divide what God has made one.

We who has recieved from God the same as Jesus did in Matt 3:16 are one in the Father of it just as Jesus was. Jesus even prayed to his God for us to be in John 17. That the Father be in you and you be in Him as one as Jesus was one in Him. Most reject Jesus prayer to be the same in God as he was.

Amen and His heaven, the place God resides in His kingdom does not come with observation, it is with you. Luke 17:20-21. We all are the same in Him and He in us as one. Which simply is Love for God is Love and man is the place He resides.

The 12 gates in revelations are named after the 12 tribes of Israel guarded by Angels in the new Jerusalem that comes down from heaven. You can't condemn Israel they are still Gods chosen people.Israel will turn to Christ in the end according to the bible.

I dont condemn Israel, I love them, they just do not follow the ways of Christ. Thery have their own beliefs for a god just as most denominational beliefs do. Mormons, Muslims, Jehovah Witness, seventh day, AOGs, COCs, Baptists, you name it all have their own laws to govern their gods. What sets them apart from Gods anointing be in them as He was in Jesus is why we have all these different laws for beliefs for a god.

Jesus was rabbi, teacher of the Jewish laws until God came to him Himself and opened in that man who He really is and all of His heaven in Jesus, and does the very same in all today who will listen to Him who is a Spirit instead of mans opinions about Him.

Adam was the very first to become like God to know this difference, Gen 3;22, Abraham, Moses, Mary, Jesus, 120 in an upper room all received that same revelation from God Himself where God who is a Spirit came to them and opened up a new heaven and earth in them. Jesus referred to this renewing of mind as born again.

BTW, angels are Gods messengers, just as these were Gods messengers Jesus being at the forefront of. Sadly not many actually listen to Gods messenger to be like Him, they have their own gods they can regulate by law instead.

I agree with all you say

"born again" shows up is when Jesus used it in John:3: 3 & 7 where Jesus was talking about entering the earthly kingdom promised Israel in which they will reign with Christ a thousand years

The only other time it shows up is in 1 Peter 1:23 who was addressing believing Jews

I am only saying that the term "born again" was never used by Paul to describe salvation for the church today the body of Christ

I am only saying this to show that it is scripturally incorrect to apply this term to ourselves........if you want to use it fine go ahead.....it's become culturally ingrained so people know what you are talking about

By the way Bible isn't in scripture either (KJV anyway) but we all use it

It is a renewing of your mind to think in Goids terms instead of mans terms for laws to regulate a belief for a god. It is who we become not where we go to occupy a space to be observed. Was Jesus right? Most are looking for a kingdom they can physically observe instead of having it with them aren't they? Who will believe Jesus in this?

Jesus in saying "Ye must be born again" speaks of the nation of Israel.

If you are not born again, then you wont be going to heaven.
Being born again, is the only literal proof a person is a Christian.
Being born again, means the sinner has been forgiven by Christ's Sacrifice, and is eternally reconciled to God, and has been given the "new birth" in Christ".....which means they now exist in spiritual union with God .. as "One with God".

This is so true. It is the same renewing of mind that Adam received from God Himself I and became like Him to know this difference from mans ideas and from God Himself open in you who He actually is. Abraham, Moses, Mary, Jesus in Matt 3:16, 120 in an upper room all received that same renting of mind to walk a God walks in the same Spirit of mind which simply is Love for God is Love, the Spirit of and man is the kingdom in which He lives proven in Luke 17:20-21 from Jesus himself.

And when one see Him as He really is, ye also shall be like Him as all of these became who saw Him as He is. 1 John 3. Most refuse to hear from God themselves they are as those in Exodus 20:19: And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

Most even pay a preacher to hear God for them.

Jesus in saying "Ye must be born again" speaks of the nation of Israel.
And they will!

Romans 11:26-27
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: "The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;
27 For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."

"born again" shows up

Born again shows up like this.

"In Christ"
"One with God".
Having become the "temple of the Holy Spirit".
Now a "heir of God"
Now a "joint heir with Jesus"
Now "Seated in Heavenly Places"........."having been tranlated from darkness......>>TO Light".

See all that?........and there is a lot more that indicates and proves that a person has received from God the "new Birth" In Christ.

That's not Israel..........that is every born again Believer., as Jesus told us...."you must be born again".......each and every one, or you will not go to heaven.
