In a word Hepzibah...OBEDIENCE to His Word. Be not hearers only, but doers of His Word. He tells us to "work out" (not work for) our salvation, for it is God working in us to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Philippians 2:12-13 (KJV) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
So then are we always on the approach and never able to overcome temptations while still here clothed in this veil of flesh?
Would we limit God?

the term anoint means to pour on..
when Moses anointed arron, He poured oil on his head. it is a one time event.
when the Holy Spirit comes into us, We are anointed by God.. it is a one time event, but alot comes with it (the pledge of the spirit. the gifts of the spirit. the chastening, and the teaching etc etc.
I think sometimes we try to make things difficult
I've noticed this is an important part of scripture, and Jesus' own words, which we have trouble believing at times during our walk with Him.

Yes, even so... Over the years on forums many have expressed what I call a 'negative faith' in this regard. They say it is impossible while in this veil of flesh, but I would say that is in effect calling Jesus a liar. Of course, I do not know everything either. I am still walking by faith toward the goal as well.

Greek Scholars all disagree.
This is why there are 30 New Testaments in "greek".
The only "originals" were the Apostles letters.
They are gone.
Koine Greek, is a mostly dead language, but you can go to Italy and find some people who use it a bit.
God uses English, most of all, to get the "word" out.
Also, we discern the bible, by spiritual discernment... so, that has nothing to do with looking up words, using 12 different Koine Grk lexicons that all define it differently.
So, if you can't read Greek, Koine Greek, then how do you know which Lexicon is not created by a person who is not born again, and was paid to translate ?
Maybe they are a Mormon or a JW?

You really have to start with a real bible, and you have to know how to find one of those..

The Devil, so wants to be God... that He tries to clone, and falsely re-represent, what God does., as that is all He has left.
That's His game, other then deceiving the world and leading people to die not born again, so that they end up in Hell.
And of course, murder, and all the sin in the world, is His direct influence... of course.
So....About 500 yrs ago, God brought the Church out of the Dark Ages, and at the same time The Devil brought in John Calvin to try to ruin it all.
And he has for billions.... so far.
This is also, why you have a Real bible, and you have a Quran, as this is the Devil's fake copy.
See. You have Christianity, and you have Islam., as this is the Devil's fake. copy.
In Islam, you have a prophet, a heaven, a 600 winged angel, and a bible.
This is the devil's false copy of Christianity.
The Quran teaches that the same Angel who told Mary, "you will conceive by the Holy Spirit".... is now a 600 winged Islamic angle that "gave Muhammed the "Quran".

So, what the devil does, is, He creates fake bibles, or he creates bible correctors.
Why that one, specifically?
Well, as i told you, Satan is the original bible Corrector, as .. God gave Adam His word, and Satan corrected it to deceive EVE.
These days and for hundreds of years, what the Devil does is use people to cause real believers to DOUBT the word of God.
So, if you doubt it, what is left?
A.) your opinion becomes your God.
Who are they that cause this situation in a believer's mind?
They are the people who use TV, Pulpits, and Forums, to tell you......"that bible is filled with errors"... "so, you can't really trust it".

I do not listen to greek scholars.
I look up a word and see how it was used in the greek.

Jesus taught that believing in Him would result in eternal life, and spoke of their belief in Him.
After His resurrection, Jesus breathed on them, saying, "Receive the Holy Spirit".
At Pentecost, they with the other disciples were baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Afterward, they were at times "filled with the Holy Spirit" and preached boldly, things like that.
In my understanding, they were saved by faith in the judicial sense before Jesus' death and resurrection. I don't think anyone was regenerated before the cross. I think when Jesus breathed on them, they were regenerated. And I think on Pentecost, the other disciples were regenerated, and that they were all united in the Holy Spirit, this being the beginning of the body of Christ in the believers.

Anytime an anointed "teacher" teaches..
3 things happen,
1.) Satan hides it from being spiritually discerned... He literally takes the seed of the Teachers anointed word out of your understanding, as soon as you hear it.
2.) A person who is deceived by anti-cross or otherwise cult teaching, will become "agitated" by the Holy Spirit, that is the anointing of the Teacher's words.
3.) The person has a "WOW"... moment.....as if the "teacher" is talking to them........ they have a " I SEE THAT, and i never saw that before".. And that is God giving them revelation through the Teacher's word.
And they have this feeling, that is like an energy, its like an awakening......and that is the Holy Spirit, causing the Teacher's words to FLAME ON, in their spirit.
But let me warn you Student of the Bible. Lover of the word of God.
Satan, comes as LIGHT..
His ministers come as ministers of Righteousness.
They too have an anointing, and you can be deceived by them, and it will seem to you, as very similar to what i just explained.
And that is because they are teaching your FLESH, they are "tickling your ears" with carnality that is disguised at Truth.

To be as Holy as God, you have to Spiritually become God's very righteousness.
You can't do that by works, or by trying to be like Jesus, as that is just self effort.
So, to be as Holy as God, .. God has to make you as Holy as Himself.
That is why God gives the BELIEVER...... "the Gift of Righteousness".
That's our Salvation.
God has recreated us Spiritually, as a "new Creation"< that has eternally become..
"the RIGHTEOUSNESS.....OF GOD...... In Christ"
That is to be "born again".
Well lets not give satan too much credit. If we have the Holy Spirit and are not quenching the Holy Spirit what can that old devil do against us?

Listen my Brother... if the Devil can't deceive a Christian.. then why are there 45,000 Denominations in the world, that all disagree , theologically, ............ = as that is why there are 45,000.
Why are cult of mary member on this forum, teaching that water saves you, that water washed your sin away, as if the Cross of Christ is not needed. ???
Also, more specifically.... why is there no peace, no "oneness" on a "christian" forum?
Its because some are not born again, who are teaching the bible, and some are "fallen from Grace", deceived by the Devil, who are teaching the bible, and some are not that one.
That is why a "christian" forum is a mad house of people teaching what they've been taught, by a cult, vs, a few who are not deceived.
So, that is literally truth fighting error, everyday, on a Forum, and in the world.
We are told by Paul to "examine our own faith, because it can become broken and "in the flesh".
Jude tells us to contend for the real faith, because there is so much FAKE theology, cult theology that is always trying to shut out Truth, and subvert real faith in a believer.
