I have seen a lot of them, but this one takes the cake.
Yes. someone was just driving down the road minding there own business. just going shopping or on the way home from work and your hole life changes in a 1/2 a second. WOW!

The article does not talk about injures. it looks like the airbags deployed, that should have helped.I wonder how they are?

Yeah, when I was a kid, they didn't tighten down the lug nuts on our family car and one of the tires fell off. Luckily it was next to home and they were driving slow. But yeah, then the other day I was driving on the freeway and heard a loud boom! A semi in the lane next to me blew a tire. When semi's blow tires it's really loud. At least that one was. I thought my engine blew cause there was smoke coming from in front of me. But then I noticed that the semi tire was broke. Whew, glad it wasn't my engine.

That's why I all ways speed up when passing a large truck. just in case.
Up date; reported that the driver of the car hit by the truck tire, walked away unharmed.

I scrolled the comments.
The driver was released 20 minutes prior and for possession.
He supposedly survived the crash. If so I wonder at his state of health.
