Not about intimacy things. I want to explore God''s plan for sex in marriage. I have been tempted a lot in porn. I have gotten a handle on this, but no, it is not something I will explore with any man except my husband, and my husband is on a different spiritual walk. He doesn't care either way.

Wow...well you indeed have a few problems.

Please allow me to make a wise suggestion. Check with the administrators if it is possible to establish a closed i.e., women only forum, or invited only forum and what the rules are for using a closed forum to have a discussion within the framework of the Christianity Board structure.

As such, it will protect everybody if it is possible. Stop those who might stumble into forum discussion and disrupt that forum's community. Keep the number within the closed forum to a manageable number or interests.

I am sure you are catching my drift. Anyway good luck and may the Lord bless this accountability and discipleship forum.

Shalom

phil 4:6 tells you what you must do in order to get the peace of God for yourself. verse 7 is what God does after you have done your part in verse 6. then verse 8 tells you what you must do to remain in God's peace. if you have questions ask.

God bless

I will take some time and watch that video tomorrow. I stopped at "tehillim" and decided maybe tomorrow. Lol. It yes. I need to meditate on Philippians 4 some. It is scripture I have memorized, but not one I "think upon" too often. (Verse 8, thinking upon what is good). It is a bit hard to be anxious for nothing. I know there are around 365 times God told us in His Word not to fear. I have cut out a lot of the things that have been giving me anxiety. For the time being, mostly all movies and games I have played. God has been doing a work in my life. I honestly am unsure what I can teach y'all, because I can tell a lot of the women on here are older/wiser/etc. But I can offer encouragement and prayer. And 20,000 questions.

i have found that putting the bible into practice is tough because we need to break through our bad habits but once done it is very easy to keep it up. just because i person is older does not mean wiser. always look at a person's fruit. fruit can be attitude, insight, and ect. i find judging everyone to the standard of Jesus works best for me. for example when people post things or say things i would ask myself is this what Jesus would say or is this how Jesus would do things. judging by the highest standard i know really helps me.

God bless

I would love to be a part of your bible study. What I am most excited about is your hunger for more of Him and for more understanding of His Word....this is where it all started for me in 1983-84.....I was so hungry that I couldn't hardly put my bible down except to eat and sleep....I even took it to work with me and studied it on all my breaks and downtime....I always asked the Holy Spirit to guide me into His Word before I ever opened the Bible to begin studying....first book the Holy Spirit led me to was Proverbs....and it built from there.
God Bless you for your hunger and thirst for you shall be filled!

I’ll warn you though; I’m not good at memorizing. I can’t tell you what book a verse comes from. But somehow the verses are in me, and He speaks through them throughout the day. And wakes me up at night with them.
Jesus tells us the Spirit will bring all things he has said to our remembrance. I trust that. In saying this Im persuaded it is what he said not where he said it but if God chooses to bring to my memory book, chapter and verse I will be grateful.

I may join you.
I became a Christian while reading the Bible, and I haven't been able to stop reading it ever since - over 40 years ago now! I've never made the effort to memorise verses, yet because I've read them so often they are embedded in my memory.

I am thinking we can pair up for accountability and things and also have women only forum to discuss things if possible. I don't know how y'all would feel about that
