There's a petrol shortage in UK?? @Josho

Yeah it's been in the Aussie news, haven't been paying much attention though, but saw lines and lines of cars at a single petrol station.

Well... I don't watch much of anything... so I did not hear at all... I have never heard of an entire country having a gas shortage.
I will read up on it..

I went for my walk yesterday and the leaves were fallen and changing color. It was a pretty uplifting view. I like fall :)

@Addy …Someone announced there would be a petrol shortage, so every one went out and panic bought the stuff which ended up with us having a shortage !!
They have a shortage of lorry/tanker drivers because of Brexit ( we use to employ many people from Europe ) It’s just had a knock on effect.

Sorry to hear that Rita. We have high gas prices now because of our new government leadership and it's discouraging. Not as bad as having a shortage though.

What... Petrol is gas...
No it's not petrol is a liquid not a gas... LPG IS a gas
Do Americans have gas petrol... No
So why do they refer to the liquid as a gas...
Makes no sense... Silly Americans getting mixed up between liquids, gases...
Maybe they call solids liquids...

Years later... Oh now I get it... Gas is just short for gasoline I think... Tsss... Damn yanks... That was almost as confusing as a jelly sandwich

Sorry to hear that Rita. We have high gas prices now because of our new government leadership and it's discouraging. Not as bad as having a shortage though.

I am pretty sure it will end up with higher prices, our energy prices have gone through the roof !!

Yes, I use to get confused with jelly sandwiches, I did however know about gasoline ………but if gas is short for that does it not get a bit confusing when talking about ‘ Gas ‘

It's gets pretty windy around here at times...we have 3 dogs. The oldest is a Doberman named Breeze and I tell you, she can clear a room faster than anyone! Lol
