Let us give praise to God, for the Natural World (no debate plz, this thread assumes God created)

Hi there!

So there was a thread about praising God for the natural world, and it got bogged down in debate, and it got shut down. So I went and checked if I could open another one, and I was told it was up to me. So here it is! A thread about the natural world and praising God for it!

The big aha moment for me, when it came to the natural world, was a fact about owls. Did you know that the shape of the tip of the owl's wing, makes the flight of the owl silent? However you want to say it was created, why did God give extra attention to the sound of the wings? Does the owl give extra attention to itself? Where then does it get the extra knowledge about the sound? To me, that says not only did the owl care that it was created, but God cared that it cared!

Rather than argue where the inspiration came from, let me just say: praise God for the wings of the owl and their silence! I thank you Lord for all those times when the mouse did not hear the owl coming! What food!

And let us pray "Lord, like the owl's feather tips, give us nuance and care to our design, that as our character develops, our having come from You, is unmistakeable - that we may be effective and courageous servants to You Will, in Your Name Amen."

Praise God that the owl can twist its neck backwards. Praise God for the rhinoceros' horn. Praise God for the Elephants big ears.

I love the winter trees and am always amazed that just as they lose their leaves there are tiny new buds forming already to burst forth in the spring.

What I see is not their dislike, but the wisdom of God.

Get this! A rooster is deaf, when he "crows" so that crowing doesn't damage his hearing!

That has to be God!

"All the roosters that weren't deaf had damaged hearing, so they didn't survive" is not an explanation.

God is amazing!

I read somewhere that just as the bluetits are feeding their young there is a glut f tiny caterpillars for them to eat. But at any other time they are poisonous.

You probably know about the Giraffe being specially designed to handle high blood pressure, while they lower their long neck and head close to the ground - to get water. If they weren't designed to handle the high blood pressure, their head would explode!

Praise God! High blood pressure doesn't phase the Giraffe!

I was just thinking: how did ducks get their hydrophobic feathers? Did they get them bit by bit? It has to be God!

But move to west texas or arizona and in the summer time
Even the night is hot and st uffy .
In a land where rain often cometh the peoples enjoy their break .
but in a land wherein its seldom heard that wetness falls from the sky
and the heat roars onwards , you can bet during their summer a cloud is a welcome sight .
