I knew what I just said when I was 9yo. it's as simple as to understand, not to mention a fact.

Fact is Socialism is founded on all smoke and mirrors. it's all about delusions that it's empowering the people but it's not built on solid foundations, it all resting on thin ice.

Why do you think such as Socialism was embraced by the Russians and the Germans back in the days that led to Communism and the Nazi hogwash, they were fed delusions and all such was Anti-Christ in fact.
If you want to be led down the track that all become enslaved like the Nazis and the Communist were be it on your own head.

Now what is known but generally not really believed is that America has tried both of these systems and all have failed spectacularly. In fact we have a national holiday celebrating it's failure and the leaving of socialism and adopting free market capitalism. You know it as Thanksgiving.

When the colonies were first formed we actually had Marxism. European descendants were somewhat ok but Asian, African, and Indian descendants were very much heavily discriminated against. Jews weren't that well received either. Someone could just take their property (if they found someone willing to sell something of value to them) or enslave them or kill them and they would have no recourse. It wasn't considered murder to murder one of these people... maybe you would get fined.
Over the years this has been erased because of the constitution being more literally interpreted...as much as people whine about it's interpretation it's actually a pretty good document.

So...we can try to claim the higher moral ground...but we really don't have it.

We're already experiencing a mixture of socialism and capitalism. I heard not too long ago that they're creating homes for the homeless here. They have to submit to drug testing and such, but they have homes to live in if they want. The problem is still that the disabled are homeless a lot around here. They can't afford their psych meds and end up on the street homeless. Really sad. But SSI won't let them on disability because it has to be proven that they are still disabled while on psych meds.

And we have medical for the poor thru Obama care.

People can still run companies and get rich, and pay huge taxes

And housing for the homeless is as dumb an idea as any made. Its been tried many times without success. But there's nothing like making yet another lead balloon and seeing if it will float.

There's the story about a barber who started giving away haircuts or a shave for those in public service type roles...and those in public service all gave the barber a gift back that was worth much more than the haircuts and shaves he gave away for free...until the moment that a politician showed up and got a free shave...a dozen more politicians showed up the next day for a free shave and a haircut and no gift was ever given in return.

Politicians are there to justify their own existence and to "make a lasting legacy" of their "service". They talk a great game but few ever do anything that is actually beneficial to their constituents...and it is usually accidental when they do. The interstate system we have in America was one of the few good things that the Government actually created that helped America. People could travel and ship goods anywhere much easier than ever before. But it was created for the military.

National Parks is almost a wash...just saying. It's benefits are almost a wash but it is to the good side in many ways. So...I'll claim that it is a good thing.
Busting up "Ma Bell" was another good thing...it has spurred the growth of the internet. They weren't going to do it even though they knew about it. Nobody else had access they way they did either. Nowadays...its a free for all...and we get the savings...mostly. Some areas are still tightly controlled and other companies are roadblocked from entering...those people pay handsomely for such things. (I'm in one of those areas) And politicians make all kinds of backroom, lefthanded deals out of keeping things this way.

What we need is a nationwide Electric and Telecom grid built by our government...one that is a different "superhighway" of sorts. One that would allow anyone access anywhere. Then you could buy electricity from anyone anywhere...or you could buy telecom (cable or internet) from anyone anywhere. Much much cheaper than ever before...cash grants have been given to some of these telecom companies to do this sort of thing for rural areas and the telecoms have taken the money and done nothing in return. absolutely zero...nada...they just took the money and gave the politicians platitudes in return. So...yeah.

I see a mental illness crisis that is the cause of the Homelessness much of the time. About 50% of the homeless are mentally ill the study suggests:

When Nixon was president he decided that the government couldn't afford to keep people in the loony bin anymore. (Which were full of Bipolar people) They got turned out in droves on an unsuspecting society that had no idea how to figure out how to react to these people.
At the same time there was a growing narcotic problem with heroin and other drugs which when someone with bipolar disorder tries it is instantly addicting. Couple that with hypersexuality that is a common tendency with bipolar people...and you have a perfect storm created where the gene for bipolar becomes dominant in a culture.

And this is the main reason why the homeless population has exploded. Sure, many make extraordinary efforts to be sane and productive...but this is mental illness we are talking about here...they aren't necessarily going to be able to make good life altering decisions on a consistent basis.

So...since the laws are written the way they are...there's no way to stop them from procreating. Look at where we have gone as a result.

Where I'm not exactly a fan of eugenics. I am a fan of the stearalisation of those who know that they are going to pass on those genes on an unsuspecting society. They know this stuff...DNA analysis can be done quite easily...make it a tax break or something...but the excessive breeding of people who will become leeches on a society has to stop. California has become this homeless shanty town and reasonable people are leaving in droves. And bipolar disorder is the ultimate cause of most of it.
