Remember, this world is the Father’s creation, as well as His place to work out His will for humanity. Many have advocated that this is the Devil’s world, but remember, Satan is simply a tool bringing about God’s purposes. What are His purposes, one important purpose of God is to fix people’s lives so they will realize their need of a Savior.
No one, nor any politician or preacher, can do this. Whatever we thought the world was before, many did not turn to God and Christ as their Savior. If our world never changed from the way it was, God’s purpose in this upside-down world would have been lost to those who greatly need Him.
You see, if crisis after crisis comes to people and they still do not turn to God, God will not leave them alone. He loves them, and it is a fact that often only suffering and hurt changes people’s minds about how they will live. A bad time has come upon America now. It is time to turn to God, not to religion or better politics or politician. The Apostle Paul teaches us we are to pray and support those who rule over us politically.
However, there are reservations to this. God has His own intentions in everything He does. When His intentioned purpose is violated, then we pray for a change or an improvement to safeguard God’s purposes. To Christians, this world is not home, we are merely passing through. We are on our way to the Father’s House. We may never see our world upright again, but the believer in Christ lives and moves and has his life in Christ (Acts 17:28).
This is God’s intention for everyone.
