Pr 17:9
He who covers over an offense promotes love,
but whoever repeats the matter separates close friends.

Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.
You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.
We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!
That sounds like a midwest-ish small-town way of saying, "We care, and we'd like you to be part of our community".Interestingly, I told my mother if someone starts causing problems and asking why I don't hang out with them to refer to Psalm 1.
It is true. I'm being judged based on how much people see myself and the kids out in the community and now someone had the nerve to ask about my work hours. (If they show up, especially if they have been drinking, I am walking away and having someone else handle it.)
Meanwhile, these people fall into a pit of destruction with their lifestyles and then try to peer through mine, like why are you not doing what I think you should be doing?
I want to say, "Who cares?! Why are you so worried about my life? My family is happy and my house is clean."
As the Finnish proverb goes, "Sweep your own front door."
Lol it would be nice if they were less intrusive about itThat sounds like a midwest-ish small-town way of saying, "We care, and we'd like you to be part of our community".

I like this. Thank youBut out of their intrusiveness, we are gaining more of God's backbone for our lives, to stand up straighter with our heads lifted up in our worship of who God is in our respective lives.
I think that's normal for small towns everywhere.Lol it would be nice if they were less intrusive about it
I don't want it to unintentionally offend my neighbor
A reminder for the church members. They don't seem to know.
I find it kind of ironic/strange, that in this present time, an anabaptist Christian would be suffering harassment and from a lot of members of Lutheran churches.

Maybe put this one out front.
God is as money in heaven,it is our business in heaven, in God we trust. LOL. Then the background of the poster is US dollars. In the world of chemistry likes blend in with likes. I don't believe bible would mix in with such a group of people. I would pick something closer to their own chemistry...

A lot of the small town people are that way. It's a very open community and everyone is really nice.I think that's normal for small towns everywhere.
If I'm right about the caring and inclusiveness, that might give you a different perspective.
I don't know why but I think your post reminds me of the chick comics back in the day.If you want to create a Bible verse poster that is least likely to offend neighbors in a diverse community, here are recommended verses with explanations:
1. Love and Good Deeds
Verse:
"So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them." (Matthew 7:12, ESV)
Advantages:
Universality: Known as the "Golden Rule," it aligns with ethical teachings across cultures and faiths.
Non-religious appeal: Can be framed as a life principle without overt religious messaging.
2. Peace and Hope
Verse:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you." (John 14:27, ESV)
Advantages:
Neutral theme: Focuses on peace, a universally desired value.
Minimizes doctrinal specificity: Avoids direct references to Christ or salvation.
3. Nature and Creation
Verse:
"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." (Psalm 19:1, ESV)
Advantages:
Poetic neutrality: Celebrates creation without doctrinal controversy.
Cross-faith resonance: Evokes awe for nature, relatable to all.
4. Wisdom for Life
Verse:
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding." (Proverbs 3:5, ESV)
Adaptation suggestion:
Simplify to "Trust fully; do not rely solely on your own wisdom" to remove "the Lord."
Advantages:
Practical wisdom: Emphasizes humility and transcendence.
5. Most Inclusive Option
Verse:
"For God so loved the world." (First half of John 3:16, ESV)
Advantages:
Concise and positive: Avoids the potentially divisive second half ("that he gave his only Son").
Universal love: Conveys unconditional care.
6.Design Tips
Neutral visuals: Use nature imagery (mountains, sunlight), abstract art, or multicultural symbols—avoid crosses, churches, or overt religious icons.
Multilingual text: Add translations (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) if the community is diverse.
Minimal attribution: Simply note "Bible" as the source without denominational branding.
Example Poster:
Theme: Building Harmony Together
Quote: "Do to others as you would have them do to you." — Bible
Visuals: Silhouettes of diverse hands joined + serene landscape
7.Verses to Avoid
These selections balance biblical truth with cultural sensitivity. Let me know if you need help refining the design!
- Exclusive claims: E.g., "There is salvation in no one else" (Acts 4:12).
- Judgment themes: E.g., "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life" (John 3:36).
- Sin-focused verses: E.g., "All have sinned" (Romans 3:23) may feel accusatory.

I'm thinking of building a big sign and putting it outside of my house.
This town has an issue with not minding their own business, but I don't want it to unintentionally offend my neighbor across the street because I actually like them and they're not a problem.
Any friendly/peaceful/reminder suggestions?

you'll definitely be put in the leftist woke camp and with a bit of persistence and some retrospectivity you might even get crucified.I'm thinking of building a big sign and putting it outside of my house.
