Love do we even begin to know Love
God sent His only son to His death because of love.
Jesus went to the cross knowing all the suffering he would endure because of love.
Abraham willingly offered his son as a sacrifice to God when asked because of Love.
David was pursued by Saul, a man called by God but fallen, but refused to Kill him because of Love even though He was threatened with death.
Moses gave up His birthright as a son of Pharaoh because He loved His people, spent 40 years or so in the wilderness till His time came and returned under threat of death because of Love.
Joseph after being sold by His brothers, still welcomed them with open arms when they needed Him because of Love.
Jesus came to those he loved and spoke the truth among them yet He was rejected and hated, was it not because of Love He did this,
Does love allow men to walk in darkness, does not love offer them the light and Life in Christ,
Does love Reject the truth and Christ for the sake of friendship and pleasing man.
Does love run from its purpose knowing what will happen if it stays its course, suffering, rejection, hate.
Would you be willing to be rejected by your friends and family for His sake, would you be willing to swim against the raging torrent for His sake, would you be willing to give up your life for Him, would you be willing to be hated, scorned and made a laughing stock for His sake.
That is what Love does, it loves not its own life even to death.
