Hebrews 3:11-15 KJV
11) So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
12) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
13) But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
14) For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
15) While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
Take heed!!
Is there an evil heart of unbelief? Departing from the Living God? Don't be deceived! Sin will do that. Exort each other, daily!
For we are made partakers of Christ, IF IF we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast to the end.
This is how you know it was real. It lasts.
There was a friend of mine who liked to ask people, Have you been a Christian long enough to know for sure you are one?

WE have become . . . partakers of Christ.
Perfect tense, we became partakers of Christ, remaining partakers of Christ, IF we hold our confidence to the end.
IF we do not hold our confidence to the end, we had not become partakers of Christ.
This is in harmony with John,
1 John 2:19 KJV
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
And Paul,
Colossians 3:1-4 KJV
1) If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2) Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
And Jesus,
John 10:27-29 KJV
27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29) My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
If we have true life in Christ, we are alive in Him forever! And we will continue to believe.
It's time to start rejoicing! Rejoice in the Lord Always, for He has done it!
