Honestly? None. Focus on getting your Christianity from Jesus and the disciples through the New Testament. Read the bible in context and try to find a church or fellowship that is following that example. Don't let the churches try to define your Christianity and then read the Bible.

I would just pretend that no devotionals, sermons, summaries, or interpretations of Christianity existed and just focus on the New Testament as written. There is a lot of lies/leaven to sift through today.

With so many, how does one know which one is the correct one to follow? Serious question here.
We follow Jesus and not a specific religion. In seeking a fellowship to belong to requires prayer and looking athe church.

God will guide you to the right church. It willbe one that is not perfect, but is seeking to glorify god, takes His Word seriously, and has a passion for the people and the lost.

It isn't a case of one denomination being "right" and all the others "wrong". Different denominations have different strengths and weaknesses. They have different worship traditions, different ways of celebrating Communion, different approaches to evangelism / prayer/ church government etc. The Bible doesn't lay down hard and fast rules for these things, which is why after 2000 years there are so many differences of opinion.

So.. choose the one that suits you best. If believers baptism is a big issue for you, join a church that practises it. If you don't think women should lead services, then choose accordingly. It's unlikely that a local church will 'fit' with your theology in every respect, so decide what matters to you and what you are prepared to compromise on.

I've been a Christian for 50 years, and in that time have belonged to Anglican, Baptist, and Pentecostal churches. A lot depends on the individual church and its leadership - there are many Anglican churches where I would feel very uncomfortable indeed, for example, but I stayed at one for over 20 years!

The church should be teaching the biblical truth. It doesn't matter what you think fits you if it is not teaching the biblical truth it is in error. You will be judged by the word of God not what you think fits you best.

For instance God has one plan of salvation that he laid out in which you will be saved it does not matter if you think it is this way or that way our of all the different teachings out there today it will only be salvation in the way God has said. any view will not save you You can not pick and chose it will only be the way God said or you have deceived yourself into believing a lie that will not save you.

Therefore it does matter as to which you chose because God only built one church and only added the saved to that church which teaches the oracles of God just as God had recorded for your salvation.

Christian Protestant denominations weren't founded by Jesus, but by people who were not of His Church. The Christians who didn't leave Jesus's Church to create or join another Christian sect are called "Catholics". The Catholic Church is the one fold Jesus spoke of, the same one He said He wants to bring others into, not multiple folds (other religions and multiple Christian denominations) each with their own differing interpretations and teachings.

The catholic church went astray and started adding teachings that were not from God therefore those that seen through this set about to bring it back as the Apostles laid the foundation.

There are to many and needs to be in a thread not to hijack this one but for example praying to Mary is not found in Gods word infant baptism is not biblical and others but let it be for now for this thread is not addressing such. It is just a response by you calling out Christian protestants but in reality there is neither catholic or protestant but one body which Christ is the head of and only the one teaching Gods recorded word without taking from or adding to is the one body of Christ.
