I like your name. You might consider that faith is the vessel in which is contained hope, charity, and love.

Therefore, faith is not actually alone but rather is al-one through Christ.
there are eternal

And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

greatest is charity not faith alone

charity is a by commandment!

deut 6;5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

mt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema.

You are merging Justification with Sanctification. Belief alone in the finished work of Christ is salvation. How much faith is needed? Any more than none at all. Remember, the Holy Spirit convinces the unbeliever that he is lost, and makes it clear that faith alone is salvation.

Faith plus works is Sanctification, becoming more like Christ.
When we discuss the Gospel with those in the Roman Catholic Church I think we must remember their policies are not at all in accord with those of the Protestant.

Roman Catholics are subject to infant baptism. Known as, Paedobaptism. They're basically to adhere to church digmas from infancy.
Jesus never taught infant baptism.

Also,it may help to know that Roman Catholics cannot agree with the faith alone teaching of Jesus.

Because the church commissioned the Ecumenical Council of Trent to respond to the Protestant Reformation.

The church codified Dogmas, and corrected in its official decrees those teachings pronounced by the Reformation proponents so to issue Catholic decrees that are thought superior.

And,they defined Paedobaptism. Which they decreed was the only means of salvation for babies.

Catholic are made adherents of the church shortly after birth.

The Council of Trent in 1547 during its sixth session Decreed Justification by faith alone to be anathema, condemned.

Another of the anathemas is belief in Christ alone.

But,in 1983 Canon Law of the Church, the church changed Anathema to the term, Heresy.
While still condemning Justification by Faith alone.
Not the only Anathema on their list of course.

There are other key factors, teachings of Jesus, pronouncements, that the church decreed Anathema, aka Heresy.

All of which still prosecutes violation, such as if a Roman Catholic did agree with Justification by Faith alone, to remain in force.
And that punishment is known as excommunication.

Which is why @faithhopecharity will never be moved by our defense of the faith from the Protestant perspective.

A great resource to learn more about the Council of Trent is the book,
Trent: What Happened at the Council
Written by John W. O'Malley.

So do you think people today are saved in a different way to the way the Christians in the church at Ephesus were saved? What indication does Paul give that the Ephesians were saved by grace through faith and not of works, but at some time in the future there would be a different way of being saved?

Of course it was past tense to the Ephesian readers. Paul was addressing people who were already saved:

(Eph 1:1) Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus, and faithful in Christ Jesus:

After a casual reading of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46), these verses "on the surface" may seem to suggest that salvation is the result of good works. Yet scripture proves itself right and non-contradictory when compared with the totality of scripture. This passage has to be taken alongside the whole of scripture. Jesus was not advocating salvation by works. That would be contrary to Romans 4:4-6; Ephesians 2:8,9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5 etc... One's works are an effect of (and therefore indication of) one's salvation status, rather than being a cause of one's salvation. This is not performance-based salvation, but salvation-based performance.

The good deeds mentioned in Matthew 25:35-36 are merely the fruit that will be manifest in the lives of the sheep. Those who are placed at Christ's right hand are not there based on the merits of their good deeds, but because of the imputed righteousness of God by faith. (Romans 4:2-6; Philippians 3:9) When works are mentioned in connection with salvation, the works are always the result of, not the condition of, receiving salvation. The stress is on works as a manifestation of one's faith (or lack thereof) and not simply on faith from which these works follow. So, it is understandable that in this context, Matthew would stress the works done in love (faith works through love - Galatians 5:6) which are a manifestation of faith by which one receives eternal life.

*Notice how love for other Christians is an indication of one's salvation status: 1 John 3:10 - In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. He who practices righteousness and loves his brother does so BECAUSE he is "of God" not to become of God. 1 John 3:14 - We know that we have (past tense) passed from death to life, because we love our brothers (present tense). Loving our brothers is the result of, not the condition of passing from death to life. 1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
Twist

cannot twist this

Luke 14:26-27
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannotbe my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.

cannot be saved and not be His disciple!

Real faith in Christ is proven to not exist in you, if you believe that Jesus does not keep you saved.

Let me show you what it sounds like to be a deceived, = a person who has no real faith in Christ, yet, its likely that you are a Christian.

Here is how broken faith sounds..

"Yes, i KNOW that Jesus saved me.........but now here is what i have to do or NOT DO, if i want to not lose my salvation,.. if i want to keep it".

See that "keeping it
LIST ???.....= they are trying to do that
LIST to stay saved, vs trusting in Christ alone to keep them saved.

Their Faith, is broken.
where does scripture say we have eternal salvation now?

No twist. You just don't get it because you teach performance based works salvation. Once saved our discipleship journey begins.

Would GJohn 3.16 count?

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

This is the main verse used by OSAS, we HAVE eternal life.

where did you get this idea from?

there is one baptism that saves. not two.

It is the baptism of the spirit that washes our sin Titus 3 :5. Not by works of righteousness whcih we have done (like water baptism) but by His mercy he saved us by the washing (baptism) and renewal (new birth) of the Holy Spirit.

Water baptism get you wet

Spirit baptism puts you in christ. in his death, in his body and in his burial (romans 6, 1 Cor 12, Gal 5)
King James 1611 edition of the Bible.
I read your teachings with interest. But, I ask you to listen to scriptures on this one.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,(many more) and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

So, give me a few word summary supporting your beliefs.

Lets look in the greek I will even use the old king james version to show you how it used to be written.

Repent ye, - second person plural. this is a command to be given to everyone. (ye in old english was plural form of you)
you Be baptized - third person singular, the command was only given to a select group of people. Not everyone (se the use of the singular "you" in the text)

recieve the Gift of the spirit - 2nd person plural. resolves the comand to Repent) ie. everyone who repents will recieve the gift of the spirit
For the remmision of sin ( resolves the command to be baptized, it resolves the question. who is he commanding to be baptized, those who have recieved the remission of sin based on their repentance.

the promise is to everyone who is and who will come.

And how did he resolve it>

Those who believed (and recieved the gift of the spirit) were baptized. just like peter commanded them to.

we must remember we are reading a letter written in a forign language and tryign to interpret that language into our flawed language. There are times wher the english does not completely portray the origional text. Where as the people who hear it in their native tongue would clearly understand it

I wish these deceived double-tongued 'Once Saved, Always Saved' dwellers on men's doctrines would leave poor @faithhopecharity alone and quit pickin' with stupid double-gospel themes that are from men and not written in God's Word.

Man's false OSAS doctrines are just a way to build their mega-churches to soak money out of people, which is why it is especially popular among the prosperity ministry preachers. They know the people love to hear smooth things, like, "... Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:..." (Isaiah30:10).

Some deceived churches on that OSAS doctrine don't even hold communion with Christ anymore, because that would violate that OSAS doctrine, showing the saved still needs to repent and commune with Jesus asking Him forgiveness of future sins, like Apostle John showed we still need to do per 1 John 1.

And what about all those New Testament Scriptures that reveal Christ telling some of His servants to get away from Him when He comes, like Matthew 7, and Matthew 25 with the "five foolish virgins", and Matthew 25 about the "unprofitable servant"? Oh, those Scripture are no longer in the Bibles of the OSAS crowd, at least that's how they treat them. And dare I even mentioned Apostle Paul's warnings about the end with the coming of a false-Messiah that will cause a great falling away from Christ, as written in 2 Thessalonians 2? What about Peter's prophecy that for the end many believers will fall away from Christ? (2 Peter 2)

The problem in many of today's Churches is that they cannot recognize Christ's enemies that creep in to destroy, just like the five deceived Churches that Jesus had sent Messages to that they need to repent or else. (Revelation 2 & 3). Only two Churches Lord Jesus had no problem with, and they did recognize Christ's main enemy. But what have some church systems done with that revelation Lord Jesus gave us about those seven Churches in Asia as patterns? They turned His Messages into 'Church Ages' stupid theories! ALL... seven of Christ's Messages to those seven Churches in Asia STILL APPLY TO ALL CHRISTIAN CHURCHES TODAY! What kind of Church are YOU... in today based on that?

Well I know u believe the Bible is God directed. Do u wish to contend that He allowed language we can not understand? I hope not.
Theres no problem with the writings as God intended.
