So the milk of the word is the Gospel of Christ; and it’s to allow spiritual growth for a person as they grow and believe in the realities of God, The Lord Jesus Christ the Son of God and also about the Holy Spirit.
When you start to believe you are fed by reading and hearing of the word of God which God will increase a person faith.
Then you have the meat of the word; which gives protein and muscle into maturity of understanding what the word is saying.
There is not much else to it other than to consider that the Bible you are reading has a point and start in history, first by the creation; then second by the understanding that after 400 years of silence Jesus who was the Word of God was sent down from Heaven to walk on this earth, and to proclaim to Israel the truth, in which they rejected, all types of people though in Israel also Gentiles sough out Jesus, and because of what He did.
His purpose was to abolish the barrier between Jew and Gentile that one may have access to God and forgiveness of sins by looking to the Lord and accepting what He had done by faith, then we to die with Christ on the cross, are buried with him, and raised again to newness of life.
