5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. - Romans 7:5.
What are sins of the flesh and where do they come from. What most of us call sin of separation (after the new birth) or sin that sends to hell, the scriptures call 'sins of the flesh.' What is sins of the flesh? Sins of the flesh is when a believer (believers only) gives a mind to a sinning body. Let's reflect a moment on that! What is a sinning body? A sinning body is the body (body of sin) you live in. It is only a sinning body if you give it a mind. The body has no mind to sin unless you give it a mind.
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. - Romans 6:6.
When a non-believer sins (unregenerate) it comes from the sin nature, granted it is still a mind given to body but ruled by sin nature. When a believer sins (with the new Christ in you nature) it comes directly from the mind only and it does not come from nature. It only looks like nature because the old mind had it's root of teaching from the sin nature/spirit.

Remember the mind before Christ telling you that you are a bad person, your just a sinner and may never amount to anything, all the inhibitions. What is that? It's the sin nature. It is the nature that is no good, it is the nature that rebelled from the beginning and you did it's bidding and suffered because of it.
So the memory is still there just like it would be in a hard-drive so to speak. You will not forget how to sin as you are finding out and the act is the same as well as the results. So those that still struggle with some kind of mind issues (most of us do) of how to put life together and want to feel better this is how the scriptures go directly at the misinformation that we alone did what was did. We have never been alone, never just a you you, self for self, there has always been another compelling factor to mankind's living.
Any kind of mind issue can be labeled here, this is the answer in scripture for health and healing for the mind. You would be remiss to think it is an overnight process because it is not, but you have to start sometime and somewhere and the scriptures is where you have to start to get the mind fixed. It covers all the bases, everything is covered in mind knowledge (renewal to Christ), every emotion and every form of sickness they are included. Bless you.
