It's that time of year again! Time to put together Christmas shoeboxes for children around the world. Samaritan's Purse has delivered these gifts to millions of children through their Operation Christmas Child ministry.

Gifts to older children can offer a means for the child to make a living and feed their families. For boys, fishing equipment can be very useful. For girls, a sewing kit can make it possible to make some money.

All of the children seem to enjoy stuffed animals and other toys they have only ever dreamed of owning. Also, school supplies are a winner.

You can also give a little extra that goes to discipleship supplies used by local pastors as a six-week Bible study on the basics of Christian living.

Hobby Lobby sells Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and offers lists to help you know what to give. Also, dollar stores have many items for a great price.

Billy Graham's son Franklin Graham started Samaritan's Purse decades ago to help the world's needy. They go a great work feeding the poor, setting up field hospitals, helping bring fresh water to communities in third-world countries, offering disaster relief around the world, etc.

i know about them, and prefer not to get into the darker side of their motivations with you, who only seeks to benefit kids. Wish that was their agenda too, but unfortunately it isnt i guess. Luckily i guess the kids are hip too lol, which is why the "like" :)

well hopefully i made clear that i understand that is your agenda, yes
too bad imo that it has to be Dec 25, but something is better than nothing to the kids i guess
