The Hebrews/Israelites did spend 430 years in Egypt, and were slaves in Egypt in latter part of that time, they just weren't slaves for 400 years.

Joseph was in 3rd(-4th) dynasty (Joseph ~ Sekhemhet, Potiphera ~ "Ra-hotep", Pharaoh = Surid).
Moses was 2nd half of 12th dynasty (Moses glyphs in pectoral of Sit-hathor-yunet, slaves in pectoral of Mereret).

p.s. Goshen is either Giza/Gizeh/ergesher "beside the high" (roughly modern Cairo) or else possibly Sokhem (Latopolis, where Josephus says exodus started from)

Are you surprised? I have yet to see a movie about biblical events that didn't take liberties with truth. There are some intersting things in the movie which I like, but they aren't always true, and overall its a poor way to get knowledge on God.

Funny story I love to tell: I used to work at blockbuster video. A woman rented passion of the Christ, and said she just loved that movie! I said I thought the book was better. She said, "yea... thats the way it always is" as if I were talking about a stephen king book/movie.

Clearly Joseph was no slave but instead was revered by the Egyptian people

I am interested in history and in the whole truth not in partial truths and agendas.

Certainly throughout history Jews have their own faults/sins/crimes. But let me tell you that all humans are mean cruel dogs.
- Egyptians (of exodus, etc): had Hebrews in harsh slavery; massacred all of Hebrews male babies; etc.
- Nazis: had concentrarion camps (with sign over eterance gateway "work makes you free"); war; Russian front; fluoridated water allegdely (maybe only in camps?); etc
- Communists had: gulags; forced communes; murdered christians; Siberia; chernobyl; revolution; murdered Tsar family; etc.
- this "Western" globalist corporatist "Zionist" regime has: poison fluoridated & alluminium-laced water; sprayed food (even organic replied me they can/do spray); surveilance; slave for dole schemes/benefit reforms/homeless; etc.
- Scythians (Aryans) had: (blinded) slaves; etc.
- Odinists/Saxons had human sacrifice; poisoned Uther's water; slew all at Anderida; etc.
- Cain killed Abel not Abel killed Cain.
- Romans had: slaves; gladiator games; crucifiction; etc.
- Greeks (Athens, Spartans) had slaves; etc.
- Maoris had: wars; cannibalism; etc.
- Persians had: harem (Ahasuerus); etc.
- many had slaves and eunuchs.

God did not condone Moses' murder, and he was in wilderness for 40 years (longer than modern life sentence of 15/30 years).

I never said joseph was a slave when he was "vizier". Though he was a slave for decade or so. How would you like to be a slave (though maybe you are like some of us are)?
"He who sins is a slave to sin".


On the other hand, I have my own personal hate/anger/bitter struggles with biblical/judeao-christian too though:
God gave David about 12 wives; Moses 2; Abraham 3; Jacob 4; Solomon 600; Ahasuerus had 2 and a whole harem; etc; while God won't even give me one (at 42 so far) (and/or any choice of who i do/don't prefer). So all humans are mean and cruel dogs and God seems mean and cruel too.
