I beg to differ on some points. For instance- 1- It was stated Jesus took on the sinful nature of man. False- A Prophecy in Old test. tells how Jesus would "bear the weight of sin" upon Himself in Hell. 2- I believe sin will never go away. False- From the end of the Great White Throne Judgement is over, God brings about a New Heaven, a New Earth, and a New Jerusalem. At which time, sin will be gone forever, knowing all that is sin, has been cast into the "Lake of Fire"- Death and Hell, Satan/Dragon, the 1st and second Beasts, fallen Angels and all unsaved spirits of people. remember, Satan is the originator of sin and auther of Death. John the Batist declares- "Behold the Lamb of God, who taketh away the sins of the world." And there are plenty other Scriptures which show how Christ took upon Himself the sins of the world and of men, but never any where He took on our "sinful nature." All that God creates New after the GWTJ will have no sin present ever again. 3- "stop looking at sin and death as something so terrible negative." Thats a belief of Satan if ever heard one. Why? [A]- Sin entered the world by one man, and death by sin. There was no physical death for anything living on the earth before sin entered it. Thus, there was no reason spirits of people had to be seperated from God and in torment forever. After sin entered the world, now there was reason for the above. - Do people not read Genesis right or what? God is not a puppeteer nor man His puppets. therefore, when God created man, He gave man "Dominion" - (authority/sublordship) over the earth. In which case, God gave man the authority to choose the future of the earth. And man made his decision. So then, when man sinned against God and listened to and follwed Satan's beliefs instead, God now had to abide by the stipulations of the rules He'd set for guiding man and this world- (IF you eat of this tree, thou shalt surely die.) God being the loving Father He is, gave man the ability to choose which way to go, along with either "Door" to open for the future man chose. Remember, God originally created Lucifer perfect as well. But, Lucifer, of his own choice also, decided to go against God's Leadership, to believe he- (Lucifer), could take his Creator's place in Heaven. As"Thou wast perfect in the day that thou wast created, until iniquity was found in thee." Thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by thy brightness- (intelligence). etc, etc. God never "allowed" sin to come into existance, it happened on its own, by virtue of a created angel believing, according to his incredibly high level of authority in heaven, his position in heaven and his looks- (beauty), he could take his Creator's place of authority. 4- spiritual nature being perfect in the sight of God- After sin entered the world, man took on sin both physically and spiritually. Neither his physical body, nor his spirit could come into the presence of God. Why? The Heb. word for Hell, describes two compartments, one of torment, the other of comfort. Why? animal sacrifice only "covered" sin, it did not take sin away. thats why it was done repeatedly over and over, all thru the Old test. by followers of God. This then, mean't that even when a Child of God died in the Old Test., thier spirit could not go into Heaven and be with God. But, it could go to "Paradise", a comfort holding place for God's Children, until the time Christ died, went to "Paradise" for 3 days and nights, then rose from the dead. After He ascended to heaven, then all the Children of God in "Paradise" were released from there and taken to heaven. Since then, "absent from the body, present with the Lord", for a True child of God. Now, at Salvation, the "regeneration" of the Holy spirit dwelling within us starts. But as Paul and others declare, we need to work at it, to grow from milk drinkers, into meat eaters in Christ. Yes, at physical death, our spirit is then fully transformed to perfection to be able to enter heaven and be with God. While we still live in this tainted physical world, our spirit and physical bodies must remain tainted as well. Thats why its a "growth" process, not an imediate "perfection". As Paul declares- the sinful, must take on sinlessness, and the corrupt, must take on incorruption etc. 5- Meditation and yoga? If speaking of both Eastern practices done by several false religions, your opening yourself up to "familiar spirits"- (translated- Satan, Demons, fallen angels, etc.) And God declares we are to avoid seeking help from, or being involved with practices of those in contact with "familiar spirits." 6- Adam's death was "spiritual"- A lie of Satan. It clearly shows it was his "physical death" no longer living on earth. From the time God sacrificed those first animals for Adam and Eve, its clear, God taught Adam to keep sacrificing animals, to follow God's guidance after this. How? Adam clearly taught Cain and Able the same practice. For Able brought the firstlings of his flock to do so, while Cain did not. And God no respect for Cain's offering. So, Adam's death was only "physical." For there is no record of his activities on earth after his death. 7- "a dead man cannot see, touch or taste"- Another lie of Satan. Why? Jesus clearly shows in the Parable of the Richman and Lazarus, how when the richman died, he lifted up his eyes from Hell. Then also spoke to Abraham. Plus, you have the opening of the 5th seal in Revelation, where souls are seen under an altar and they see the persecution of thier loved ones on earth and cry out to God to avenge this. Now, people can say, "ya, but these are only a story and a vision." So... What did Christ declare? "If it were not true, I would have told you." Jesus spoke god's Truth all the time, not just part of the time. so, to claim those Parables or Revelation are not true, or just "stories", is calling jesus- (God in the flesh), a liar. 8- Jesus overcame, Adam did not- It was Eve who was tempted and fell first. If read back in Genesis, all the time God had Adam there on Earth alone, he never once came even close to the forbidden tree. Besides, Adam himself declared to God when asked what happened- (after both sinned), it was the woman you gave me who decieved me. 9- Jesus did not start out as a child in the full favor of God- Oh? what about where as a young boy, he disappeared and joseph and mary were looking all over for Him, only to find Him "doing His Father's Will" already, in the Temple? When Jesus reached the age He could understand things better, He was already going to the temple and Teaching people there. 10- Adam walked in Paradise with God in the Garden of Eden- Nope- "Paradise" was the "Comfort" side of Hell in Old Test. times. And Jesus declared to the one thief next to him on the cross- "today, thou shalt be with Me in Paradise." Could not be Heaven. Jesus had 3 days and nights to go under the weight of sin in Paradise/comfort side of Hell first. Could not have been the "Garden of Eden." God must've taken that to Heaven, after expelling man from it, as there has been no physical evidence of any Angels standing guard at any entrance anywhere, nor of a "flaming sword" seen, to keep Its way, found on Earth. And we know the exact location of it, from the Geographical elements God shares in His Word about it. Think about these points- God Bless!!
