We hear many stories about near-death experiences. It is amazing how we interprete what God is trying to tell us through these kinds of experiences, when a person shouldn't survive something, but does. It is very clear that God is trying to get people's attention when that happens but unfortunately, not many are learning what God wants us to learn. For instance, a luke-warm believer experiences a near-death experience becomes an athiest (instead of more obedience).

do you think that is the norm? Most I hear of have life changes for the better, espcially those near miss suicides... I think there is a best selling book on those and like 99% were so glad to be alive....

I am saying that people are not exactly changing for godly causes. there are many denominations in the chruches, and those who have near death experience change their Christianity and they travel all over into different denominations. If they are getting true messages from God they should not be deciding to change to so many differerent denominations. It is so obvious they are getting confused messages.

Keep in mind that God works in a variety of ways. Perhaps the best comment about God I ever heard a man make was a quote. It went something like: When you hear about the guy who died after he was hit, you might read about the man with two daughters who was killed. A stranger who might not know all the facts as he reads the obituary sees this. However, the family of the two year old girl that was saved by the man thinks differently. Servant_of_the_End could tell you more about it, but I don't think something has ever illustrated God's wonderful work so much as this simple little story has.

Don't you think it possible even though they may have experienced being closer to God that they didn't get all the answers. Adam and Eve experienced a close relationship with God but didn't know all the answers. The Hebrews after the Exodus while in the desert had a close relationship with God yet didn't know all the answers. The bible is full of people that had a close relationship with God but only knew what he allowed them to know.

I believe Satan is the father of confusion, it makes sense that should someone become closer to God Satan would try to insinute himslef in the exchange... He is the one who desires to hurt the righteous. Look to Job to see that... he is the king of divisions also. Look at the original temple planned by David, not one division of the people only the priests... the temple of that satan driven man Herod rebuilt a temple full of divisions, one for Jewish men, one for Jewish women, one for Gentiles ect, ect,ect...

I have not yet read Book of Job, but I know Lucifer is the father of confusion. He is nothing but lies. And yes, I had 2 near death experiences.

1. Car accident the Jeep, rolled over 7 times and hit ground and rolled maybe a few more times and then the Jeep was upside down when finished. (that's from my parents side, I was knocked out before it was started) That was when I was in 7th grade.2. I got ran over by a jet ski on the back of my head. (that was in 8th grade.)

wow sounds like you need to stay away from moving vehicles. Did you see a white light or anything?

That jet ski accident, was during daytime, bright outside. I barely saw it coming, I went under the water as much as I can, I had a dash back of my head 4 inches. I had my eyes wide open, never closed it, until I was done through the surgery which lasted maybe a couple hours. And yes, I do need to stay away from moving vehicles, That's one of the reason I don't want to drive for safety reason.
