krissWhat a neat encounter you had at 6 years of age. And it remains fresh in your mind. Wow. Do you think that red flower was there just for you at that time ? I bet it was , I'm sure it was. When I read your story It was like ..... can't think of the words , like angels were around or something. My earlier note about how I ended up on this forum and on your 2 posts happened exactly the way I said. Kind of hard to explain through a keyboard but I have about 30 pages of notes from 5 years ago to do with this Columbia subject. Like I said , hard to explain but in the back of my mind I knew someday there would be a time and a place to re-visit it again. Just never knew when or where or how . In the back of my mind I also knew one day I would come across a Christian site or forum that was the one (for me) and I would know it. For some reason in all these years and thousands of hours on the internet I had never gotten involved in a forum of this type. The few I had glanced at never caught my interest (or spirit). The other night it was as though it was the time to do it. Like I said within 3 minutes I found 2 of your posts and knew this was the place. A couple of things I have not mentioned. I use tabs on IE and usually have several pages on the go at once. Usually 10-15 pages at a time. That night I had only 4 tabbed pages. -One was the google search page for "Christian forums" with almost 4 million results.-The first link I clicked was one of your posts (more about that later)-the second page I clicked was by someone named Denver and it said ..... I never really planned this forum but ....... I forget the exact rest of the words but I knew who planned this forum.... and I was to join.-The third page was a quick internal search "Columbia Shuttle" and second one of your pages came up .... with some of the exact information (and confirmation) I was looking for. At another time I will tell you what that information was.Now , let me back up a bit. I did get those 4 pages up in three minutes like I said. And like I said I "already knew" this was the right place. But before I read the other two pages, I spent quite a while on the first link I had clicked on. It was a long post you had regarding pre-trib rapture questions. I am well read on this subject and my thought was this kriss fellow (thought you were a guy) thinks on a high level that I can relate to. I also liked some of your statements you made defending your position . It took my thinking where it has never been before (rapture question) and now I will have to re-vist that whole subject again. Darn !! Anyway , I was sold on the high level of thinking and study on this forum ,and when I then read the Columbia results page and the Denver page it was confirmed and confirmed. It is actually more like I went looking for three specific (aspects) I desired in a forum and found them on three pages and in three minutes .A mathematition would say the compound odds of probability of this being random chance is 59319000000000000000 to 1 . I am not a mathematition , can't even spell the word , but I know it is a big number. Besides I do not require that type of proof. It is secular.Whew !! now that I got that out of the way and probably bored a couple of people to death , a couple of other things.I am reluctant to post this now because it will sound false and convenient. The other day when I was preparing the yellow flower story I was a bit hesitant to include the picture of the car and the flower. I am new on the forum and do not know all the ins and outs of what is apropriate. I went ahead anyway. Not a hard decision actually. My difficulty was that for some reason I also had up a picture of a red flower and kept wanting to post it for some reason. It did not fit the theme and would be out of place. It did nag at me for quite a while but I deleted it and did not bother. Here it is now . I airbrushed in the white , so that part is fake. Nothing else I have said is fake. Now that I got the red flower out of my system , I really want to get on to one of my favorite stories. Sweet old ladies get prayers answered too. And quick. Example coming right up.

She was a sweetheart , about 82 , new dress , hair all done up , she was all exited , she just had a prayer answered , she was beaming and she was going to see Rita MacNeil live and in Concert. I had just had a prayer answered as well, I did not know this Lady. I did the only thing I could think of ........ I took her by the arm and in we went...... .I like Rita MacNeil , the woman and her music. I do not go to concerts , that is until Rita was booked to play at The William Glesby Center in Portage la Prairie Manitoba. It took me three days trying to get thru on the phone to book a ticket. Of course when I finally got through , all the tickets were sold out. Guaranteed to happen. However the receptionist said there had been so much demand they were considering holding two concerts , back to back , if they could sell enough tickets for the second show.Put me down for a ticket , said I , as a matter of fact put me down for two. I was going to do my part to sell more seats.... I have lots of friends who would like a free ticket. I am in my "generous christian man mood " today. As the weeks drew near to the concert date , and yes they had sold out two performances , and I was in the fortunate position to have an extra ticket to give away. Smug and cheerful I began calling a few people to give it away. No takers. called a bunch more people . No takers. Feeling less and less smug and less cheerful I got desperate and waved the ticket offer in front of everybody. Most folks wanted it but had previous plans for the day of the concert. The concert was to be held on a Sunday afternoon , I was a good boy that day and went to a morning Church service. At this point I decided to get the Lord in on the act , I was in church after all. I am not a very good Christian . When I pray , I do not get down on my knees in front of a cross , light a bunch of candles , use a bunch of religious words , No time for that . I just mumbled a quick one as I walk up the stairs to church , God can find someone who wants the ticket .... it is in his hands now.A-ha !! ... I thought , there is my answer , recently in the small town of Gladstone a new RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) officer had been stationed. She was a ray of sunshine for our community , very personable and involved in local activities. Out of appreciation I had been considering a small "welcome to our community" type gift for her . Did I mention she was pretty ? So here I am , in church , she is in church , I had been praying , I usually have my prayers answered ....... perfect I thought. Not to be . Her dad was in town and she had family activities previously planned and she thanked me for the offer but had to decline. Three hours to concert time so I drove 45 minutes to Portage , went to the park and sat around to kill some time. One more time Lord , I give up , if there is anyone you want to receive this free ticket , you send them to me , I have tried my best. Even send some little old lady , I dont care any more. I'm thinking by now probably the lord doesn't even care about Rita MacNeil concerts anyway , he is likely pretty busy with the important stuff.I walked into the theatre , picked up my reserved tickets at the wicket , turned around and there was a group of lady ushers standing there , I held up the ticket and said I am scalping a free ticket , if you find anyone who wants it ....... poof ..... they all turned and ran off with my extra ticket. I must have broken some kind of ticket scalping rule I thought. I expected security to show up any minute. Soon , one of the ladies returned , out of breath and said a profound thank you. She began to tell me about this sweet little old lady that was outside praying in the parking lot ............

Actually , there had been four little old ladies from some small town , Treherne I think it was. One could drive but had no car, one had a car but could not drive , one had a credit card and one knew how to order reserve tickets over the phone. These four little old ladies had combined all their resources and planned the big trip to see Rita MacNeil in concert. They had arrived safely , the concert was about to begin , the lady who was good at phone business had made sure to order the tickets for her three friends ..... but had forgot to order one for herself .... oops !! The staff at the theatre were beside themselves , the lady was almost crying , there were no more tickets left , her three friends went inside and were seated. Rather than leave the fourth lady by herself , some of the staff were going to find a place where she could be taken care of and wait until the concert was over. Walking through the parking lot , almost in tears , she looked up at the sky and said "Lord if there is any possible way ...." poof ... there was a ticket ... right in front of her , in the hand of a breathless usher ...... Her prayer was answered , quick too. Best date I have ever been on . Did I mention she was a sweetheart? I took her by the arm and escorted her to our seats . It was a great concert , she was happy and beaming , she whispered in my ear that her three friends were jealous ..... they were wondering how did she find this young guy ...... and a ticket ... and so fast ... they wanted to know..... She told them The Lord works in mysterious ways .She was a real sweetheart , did I mention that? I never did get her name , I will ask her in heaven when we get there, I think Rita will be there also , and that pretty RCMP officer too, I hope you join us , I will introduce you around. I hear the music is good there. Arnie
