Why did you post this O.P.?
What is the point?
And are there more exhortations on the way?

As I read this chapter more, I can see the importance of why I can only follow Christ as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing to God, hoping that this might be an encouragement for someone as the OP. , but about the exhortations I don't know would there be more, if so, I would keep that in mind.

29 of how much sorer punishment, think ye, shall he be judged worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant wherewith he was sanctified an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

A stern warning, but what does it mean ? How can we treat the Blood of the covenant as an unholy thing, something to be avoided..?

Luke 22:20 "And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which will be shed for you.

Peace be with you!

Christ IS risen!
Alleluia!

Really, this chapter brings more revelations to my mind in prayer.

Much could be gleened from all these verses.
I also very much understand that our life is a living sacrifice.
I just like to speak clearly and openly otherwise I can't respond...
but the O.P. did sound interesting.

So, where do we go from here?
What does it mean to be a living sacrifice?

IMO, it means to lay our lives down for God, and the people around us...

But we all far short... How hard it can be to share All that we are, and all that GOD has gracouosly given us with those around us... Selfishness, fear, laziness, pride.... All get in the way...

Son of David, have mercy on us!

As we follow his steps, he directs our steps closer to him for what he have to say to us for salvation, I also think, that our whole bodies, mind, and spirit is being healed because we follow him for his name sake.

Yes, I agree that our body, soul and spirit are being healed by following Him...
I also like what @Philip James said in post 7 and I'm going to reply to him....
We also need to offer our whole selves...

Son of David, have mercy on us!
As Paul said...O wretched man that I am...
Mathew 7:24 WHO will set me free from this body of death?

As the body without the spirit is dead...
so is faith without works dead...
James 2:26

Before we knew God,,,we were dead... a walking corpse.
But then we awakened to our Spirit or the Spirit...and we became alive.
Slaves to satan are dead...
Slaves to God are alive with the truth...and the truth is that we were in bondage to satan --- but we've been freed of that bondage to our sin nature.

So Romans 12:1 which tells us to be living sacrifices must surely mean that now that we belong to God,,,,every moment of our lives should be dedicated to Him.
Everything we do in our simple daily lives should be an offering..a living offering.
Whatever we do, we do for God.
Colossians 3:23 We work heartily as for the Lord, and not for Men.

Acts 2:41-42 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; Ephesians 2:20

It is soo important to follow this foundation:

Yes, when Our Lord Jesus was talking to his disciples: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he/she do; because I go unto my Father.

John 14:12 Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever believes in Me will also do the works that I am doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.
