I've really begun to pay attention to lyrics, although I'd say I tend to listen to music for the music instead of the lyrics. However, I've noticed that music can and will influence your mood. Because of this, I've tried very hard to listen to Christian music lately. Regardless of doctrinal stance, I think at least listening to positive and Christian messages is worth it.
A friend of mine had made a comment about the new Switchfoot CD, Hello Hurricane, I noticed it's on sale at Amazon for $5.00 for the mp3s. I just thought I'd share, it's been out for about a month and a quick listen this morning made it sound pretty good.
