You could make the question a little harder. Would you like to hear Origen on universalism? We hear that "drivel" here with some regularity.

I noticed in searching through your posts that you use the phrase “you people” frequently. It looks to me like it is almost always, if not always, in reference to Protestants.

I’m not a Protestant. I’m a Jewish monotheist who believes that Jesus of Nazareth is the promised Messiah, Son of the living God.

If you want to lump me in with the Protestants then “you people” would have to be a reference in general to anyone who isn’t a Catholic. I’m fine with that.

Origen, as you probably know, wasn’t sympathetic to Jewish monotheism / Jewish monotheists. He and I go together like oil and water.

You have to keep Paul's (as well as David's) statement in context as we know there were righteous people.
