I'm non-denominational myself, or as I like to call it, a "Free Christian"..
To be blunt, I don't need any organised religion because Jesus said - "You have one teacher, me "-Matthew 23:10
i suggest you read the verse in Context before and after verses . and also its wider context . Because surly the holy ghost is also a faithful master and teacher and never would teach different than Jesus and what About faithful pastors of Gods word.and what about your self when you teach a little one about their only savior Jesus from sin.what the verse is saying is we must teach what Jesus taught and nothing less or more.it is also not saying our kids cant go to school and learn arithmatic or proper englsih from their teachers .but it is saying if they teach contrary to Gods word don't listen to them where they do.a example would be a teacher saying evolution is true not creation by a God that is Almighty.now lets look at the part about call no one on earth your Father.Have you not read the command by God himself to honor ones father and mother?thats why we look also at the wider context of a verse to shed light on what Jesus means.dO you understand Jesus here is reminding us of the first commandmentand is not saying we can't call our EARTHY male parent Father.after all even God calls a earthly parent ourr father in the command to honor them.

now i truly feel very sorry for you Non denominational people. if you don't know what pot luck is?I am quite sure even Jesus was very found of it.lutheran's especially are.And the baptist seem to be also.its a wonderful meal in which each family brings somthing good to eat and we all share every thing in great Christian fellowship fashion.now you non denominational people just may have had something simularbut that would again be kinda cheating since denominations once again did it first.I think the denomiation Jesus was from was the jewish denomiation .i think i remember reading luthers writting on Jesus was a jew.i dont think any where i read was it ever said that Jesus was non denominational . He was a Jew and he did Jewish religious traditional things .AND one of them Jewish things i would think was enjoying pot luck with his believers .Gods blessings

Well you seemed more than happy to point out what you believe to be wrong with being non-denominational. And it appeared you were saying it in a condescending manner but as you know we cannot hear the tone or see the expressions when things are said. So if it was not in this manner than I take no offense

i asked what it was you believed.I knew ahead of time you couldnt answer it.saying ones beliefs are the bible teachings .that sounds really fine . But any christian religion could say that .but when one asks what are these bible beliefs of yours ?some MUST react as you do BECAUSE there now caught.exposed for what they are .they have no origina! purly a non denominational way to do it. they must also realy on those who went before them who came from denomination'sor started them.Even to say Jesus he is my personal savior. has already been expressed many times by some one of a denomination.

So what all this amounts to is a simple thing called "I don't care" its all a question of mind over matter, I don't mind cause it don't matter.........I could sit here till the cows come home and present a list of views and beliefs but what good would it do.
