The commandments are vast and spelled out in the bible to be more specific than just love God and love your neighbor. They are spelled out in detail in the sheep and goats as well as revelation and the 10 commandments and other parts of the scripture so that people don't get it wrong.
Matthew 25:31-46
1 Corinthians 6:9-11
Revelation 21:8
James 2:8-13
I listed a few specific commandments that define what it means to love God and your neighbor.
The writer of hebrews was writing to Jewish people in that day in age. The writer was encouring those believers in that day in age to continue to meet up and keep having faith.
I do not believe people have to go and do those things because it was not written to gentiles, but Jews specifically.
It's not something mandated upon people...
Actually Matt, that was written to Christ's disciples, not to the Jews in whom the Kingdom was take from. The covenant with Jacobs descendants ended at the end of the week, in other words 36CE Dan 9:27 Do you believe we are living in the last days Matt? If you do, then Isa 2:2,3 is taking place right now, and clearly Jesus would have more disciples now than in the first century, do you honestly think God would leave them without shepherds? He has always congregated His people, why do you think He would not do that now?
you have your own view, church can happen anywhere at any given time by the spirit, thank you for openly sharing your view for all to see, sir.
