When it comes down to Jesus saying no man knows the day or the hour. He told them all kinds of signs they would start seeing show up.

They still knew he was coming quickly and needed to be ready. Thats what Revelation entails.

You gotta consider the audience and what is being said to them you cant just take passages and use them all willy nilly without thinking.

I mean I guess you can if you want to, thats up to you.

Everyone is suppose to test all things for themselves.

May the resurrected Spirt of the Lord Yeshua guide you to have fruits of his love, and may God continue to work in your mind and heart, for his purpose.

Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36), reminding us that His reign is spiritual, eternal, and not bound by earthly systems or traditions.

My encouragement to everyone is simple: study the Bible. Not just to quote it, but to understand it — in context, in humility, and in partnership with the Holy Spirit.

If any doctrine leads you to treat others with cruelty, arrogance, or contempt, it should be discarded. “The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits” (James 3:17). Truth never gives license to harm.

I’m not here to argue or debate. My intention is not to challenge anyone’s salvation or personal walk. I’ve simply offered observations about how Scripture is often misused or misappropriated — sometimes weaponized instead of honored.

To all who have participated in this conversation: thank you. Your engagement matters. Let’s continue to seek truth with love, and walk in the Spirit of Christ, who calls us to both discernment and compassion.

Matthew, you believe that Jesus has returned. Where is Jesus right now?

Where else is God? I answered your question.

He isn't showing up down here today... Can't say "show yourself to me God!"

Insights: God lives within us, and so does Yeshua, the hope of glory.

Matthew, I am having a hard time understanding your rationale.

If Jesus has returned as you say, then why isn't He here on earth, and not it heaven ?

All he did was come to get the bride of Christ. 1000 years isn't literal.

People just make 1000 years be literal. 1000 = completion of the allotted time, it all came to completion in the century. It's not a literal 1000 years...

Aside from there, here is a question for you, its been 1000 years since those days, without the 1948 israel...

You wont see Jesus come anyway, that will be in like 2948... Going by how you view it.

So why preach it?

Oh and you gotta be in Israel... because Earth - doesnt mean the whole earth.

I play video games still sometimes (yeah i know im a sinnner - rolls eyes - ) or atleast in my mind remember playing some games that have magic spells - earth - and all it did was bring up a section of "earth." Nothing more.

The people governed by the Apostles in the bible.

If you wanna see yourself as part of the group you could say you are offshoots of the ones who did everything perfectly.

They were spotless, blameless, and without blemish... No one is that today...

Cause thats what they needed to be to be part of the bride which Yeshua was going to get.

Do you have any historic evidence of a group of Christians being being gathered up by a returning Christ and taken to heaven with him ?

As I've shared before, I am a person of faith. I trust what the Bible affirms regarding those individuals in that time.
I don't require external proof—they were taken, and that reality leaves many with countless questions.
I don't claim to have the answers.

Matthew, the resurrection/resurrection of the dead in Christ and the living in Christ has not happened yet.

Because Jesus has not returned yet to do so.

That's why you cannot find any historical evidence of your claim that it has happened.

What historical evidence is there for the world to be created in 6 days, for Adam and Eve, the tower of Babel, for giants, for the parting of the Red Sea? Or for the plagues in Egypt? Or for tons of other events and biblical claims (like genealogies)?

Do you believe them to happen literally? If so, how much more trustworthy are the words of the Lord Himself than these Jewish stories so many Christian believe not only despite the lack of evidence, but frequently contrary to evidence?

Those things are recorded in the bible as having happened. The resurrection/rapture is not recorded in the bible as having happened.

But it is recorded to happen in the life time of the apostles. Why don't you believe that?
