One would think that the Grim Reaper would slack off a little at least during
the holidays; but not so. A study done of 26 years of death certificates
shows that coronary fatalities are, on average, 11.9% higher on holidays
than any other days of the year; with non-heart deaths spiking to 12.2%
higher.

According to the US Government Census, the normal death rate in the USA
is currently one every twelve seconds; amounting to 7,200 deaths of all
ages, race, and gender every 24 hours. Adding 12.2% to that tally comes to
8,078; ergo: for at least that many people living in the US, today will be
not only their very last day on earth, but also their very last Thanksgiving
too; and according to Luke 13:22-24, Matt 7:13-14, and Matt 22:14, not a
few will transfer to a dismal netherworld penal colony where people pass the
time gnawing their tongues in pain while immersed in a perpetual Tower Of
Babel din of innumerable weeping and wailing voices.

of gaiety, for death is the destiny of every man; the living should take this
seriously.

and according to the rest of the bible that you omitted, we 'should' give thanks because God is good Psalm 136:1 and loves His enemies Matt 5:44 ;).

God describes hell from His vantage point. To God the unsaved are suffering....to the unsaved they are living the life they want.

This subject has been beaten to death though. Until you can show actual scripture of God torturing any of His enemies past and present...you are simply making assumptions off rhetorical overstatements of the future.

Hanoi is a beautiful place. But unless you have actually been there you will always refer to it as / think of it as a lake of fire.

Those are staggering numbers.. Real quick, off topic, I used to work for the coroners office. It is incredible how may people die on the holiday and days leading up to it. I would sometimes wonder what became of their souls. Some went peacefully, some went terribly, Any way.... I've never seen the numbers. Thats incredible.

The numbers become even more intriguing when we estimate the possible
number of dead from Thanksgiving who went to hell.

According to 2009 US Census data; roughly 27.3% of America's daily deaths
are under the age of 19. So if we give those youngsters the benefit of the
doubt we can subtract 2,205 from the OP's 8,078 which leaves 5,872
people of adult age to work with.

Seeing as how Luke 13:22-24, Matt 7:13-14, and Matt 22:14 say that most
are lost; then giving the lost the benefit of the doubt by limiting their number
to a maximum majority of 51%, we get only 2,994 people of adult age who
possibly ended up in hell out of the 8,078 that were expected to die during
the 24 hours of Thanksgiving day.

Putting that into perspective, dividing 2,994 by 24 equals a 125 people
shipped off to hell per hour. Just think, by the time Macy's 3-hour parade
ended yesterday, a possible 375 American citizens filed into the nether
regions; and that's only counting the ones from the USA. Comparable
numbers poured in from other countries all around the world. Well; all I can
say is; that mythical boat across the River Styx must be comparable in size
to one of those Princess Cruise ships in order to keep up with the holidays.
