Only one rapture of all the saints, and only one second coming of Christ

In Luke 21, Jesus tells the church, as in the people of God, they are on the earth at the end when He returns at the end of the world-age.

Jesus warns us to watch, and pray to be counted worthy of escape, otherwise that Day of His returning will come on you as a thief, and you will not be ready for when the Master returns. v27 and onwards prove this. What is meant by escaping all these things is referring to the coming WRATH, a 'sudden destruction, and you will be able to stand before the Son of Man on the earth at the end. He is not speaking of a pre trib rapture.

The Signs of the Times and the End of the Age​

7 So they asked Him, saying, “Teacher, but when will these things be? And what sign will there be when these things are about to take place?”

8 And He said: “Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ [d]Therefore do not [e]go after them. 9 But when you hear of wars and commotions, do not be terrified; for these things must come to pass first, but the end will not come immediately.”

10 Then He said to them, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. 12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will [f]answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or [g]resist. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.

The Destruction of Jerusalem​

20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those who are in the midst of her depart, and let not those who are in the country enter her. 22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon this people. 24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

The Coming of the Son of Man​

25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”

The Parable of the Fig Tree​

29 Then He spoke to them a parable: “Look at the fig tree, and all the trees. 30 When they are already budding, you see and know for yourselves that summer is now near. 31 So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. 32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. 33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.

The Importance of Watching​

34 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with [h]carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may [i]be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

37 And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet. 38 Then early in the morning all the people came to Him in the temple to hear Him

Why do you reject the clear doctrine of Millenial Kingdom Exclusion found in that same chapter of 2 Thes 1. ?
And simply saying, "it is not there" , is no rebuttal at all.

Explain how, since it says these are destroyed, people who do not know God, people who do not obey Christ's gospel, that group includes all the unbelieving. Their everlasting fiery destruction occurs on the Day He returns. This is that Day of vengeance, which is also mentioned in the OT.

No, it is a fiery second coming. Fact is Peter tells us that world burns.
The world is not expecting Christ, and they scoff, think the second coming in fiery wrath is nonsense, just like Noah's day, they did not listen to Noah who was a preacher of righteousness.

Sure they shall be punished in the future, but they are also being punished by death in fiery vengeance when Christ comes again.
To say they are not punished says God is unjust. Because when He comes He judges them, so they are killed then, and resurrected for the judgement.

Peter lays out the timeline here. Christ's return is that Day of Judgment.

2 Peter 3 is not divorced from 2 Thess 1, or the sudden destruction Paul speaks of in 1 Thess 5.
The second coming is one of fiery destruction of the wicked and unbelieving, and the people of God inherit the earth, the wicked do not inherit the earth, they are cut off, and eternally separated from the righteous on the Day, same Day Paul preaches about in Acts 17 when He comes to judge the world in righteousness, and the wicked, unbeliving are unrighteous and will be destroyed on the Day. That same Day is taught in Malachi 4.

I've already shown it does not. You are taking something from the second coming and something from after the second coming and mixing them together. The verb tenses used show some things happening at the second coming and some things in the future. They cannot be mixed together.

I think this is a good verse to bring up, but I think we need to look at the big picture.

The Jews may receive this man but He is going to enter the Temple and claim that He is God. The AOD is set up in the Temple and it's on. The Jews that flee will go to a place of protection. The two thirds that remain will be killed.

Most of this is wrong. Too many errors to correct but these beliefs are perfect for the times we live in.

We are not to forget what else God's Word reveals will happen on that future "day of the Lord". First of all, that is the only... future advent by Lord Jesus Christ. It is the same day He gathers His faithful Church on His way to the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem.

The other event we are to remember is the 'change' of those still alive on earth, at the twinkling of an eye, to their "spiritual body". That will happen for ALL that are still alive, including the wicked still alive. We ALL... are going to go into the future world to come which will not be one involving a flesh body. Thus those alive that are 'changed' do not go through a resurrection. Only those who had already died go through a resurrection on that day.

As for the destruction Peter mentions by God's consuming fire on that day, and also the end of Hebrews 12 mentions, that is how that 'change' at the twinkling of an eye to the "spiritual body" will happen for everyone still alive on earth. Those still alive on that day of Christ's coming will be like waking up from a dream at that change, and immediately they discover their "spiritual body" manifested.

For the wicked still alive on earth during that 'change', they will suffer God's vengeance 'spiritually', and wake up in shame. Some will actually be fully destroyed on that day, like the 7,000 mentioned in Revelation 11, which I believe will be Satan's angels that will come to earth for the "great tribulation".

On that same day of Christ's coming also, the wicked dead will be raised to the "resurrection of damnation". They and the wicked that are alive that will be changed, will go through Christ's "thousand years" reign standing in judgment. Jesus even promised His elect Church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3 that He will make those false Jews of the "synagogue of Satan" to come worship at the feet of His elect. And per Zechariah 14, it says those nations which refuse to come up to Jerusalem to worship The King (Jesus Christ), The LORD of hosts, and keep the Feast of Tabernacles, there will be no rain upon their lands.

The jews rejection of Christ shows how deceived they were all the way back to Moses, as Christ told them they did not believe Moses either , and also Stephen in Acts rebuked them, then they stoned the guy.

Spiritually they were seriously deluded, most of them, like Paul said they had a passionate zeal for God but no knowledge.

Romans 11
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for [a]Israel is that they may be saved. 2 For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Israel Resists the Holy Spirit​

And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers, 53 who have received the law by the direction of angels and have not kept it.”

Stephen the Martyr​

54 When they heard these things they were [h]cut to the heart, and they gnashed at him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, 56 and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, stopped their ears, and ran at him with one accord; 58 and they cast him out of the city and stoned him. A connection here.... between the unbelieving jews and the antichrists is found in the blood of the prophets and saints, even unto the end of the age-world.

Revelation 16
5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying:

6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
And You have given them blood to drink.

Revelation 18

All those 'great city' mentions in Revelation are Jerusalem, Babylon, Sodom, Egypt, they are one and the same city, except at the end when we get the New Jerusalem for the New earth come down from God, which can only be peopled by the new creations in Christ, the redeemed.

Revelation 11:8
And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

Revelation 3:12
He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

Revelation 21:10
And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Some will actually be fully destroyed on that day, like the 7,000 mentioned in Revelation 11, which I believe will be Satan's angels that will come to earth for the "great tribulation".

On that same day of Christ's coming also, the wicked dead will be raised to the "resurrection of damnation". They and the wicked that are alive that will be changed, will go through Christ's "thousand years" reign standing in judgment. Jesus even promised His elect Church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3 that He will make those false Jews of the "synagogue of Satan" to come worship at the feet of His elect. And per Zechariah 14, it says those nations which refuse to come up to Jerusalem to worship The King (Jesus Christ), The LORD of hosts, and keep the Feast of Tabernacles, there will be no rain upon their lands.

Zechariah 14 Is The Eternal Kingdom​

Zechariah 14:1-12 below shows the Lords return to earth in fire in final judgement.

(Verse 1) shows "The Day Of The Lord" also seen in 2 Peter 3:10-13 "Fire Judgement" below

(Verse 2) Shows that all nations are gathered for the final battle of armageddon.

(Verses 3-5) shows the Lords return, and his eternal feet touch down on the earthly Mt, of Olives, and in the "Twinkling Of An Eye" 1 Cor 15:52 takes place, in the catching up, resurrection, final judgement by fire, and the New Heavens, Earth, and Jerusalem being revealed for eternity, judgement complete, eternity begins.

(Verses 6-7) Eternal light seen, in the eternal kingdom, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 8) The river of life is seen, Rev 22:1-5

(Verse 10) The New creation is being revealed, the plain is lifted up.

(Verse 12) "The Day Of The Lord" showing the "Last Day" judgement by the Lords fire, as men are consumed as they stand on their feet, 2 Peter 3:10-13

We are not to forget what else God's Word reveals will happen on that future "day of the Lord". First of all, that is the only... future advent by Lord Jesus Christ. It is the same day He gathers His faithful Church on His way to the Mount of Olives east of Jerusalem.

The other event we are to remember is the 'change' of those still alive on earth, at the twinkling of an eye, to their "spiritual body". That will happen for ALL that are still alive, including the wicked still alive. We ALL... are going to go into the future world to come which will not be one involving a flesh body. Thus those alive that are 'changed' do not go through a resurrection. Only those who had already died go through a resurrection on that day.

As for the destruction Peter mentions by God's consuming fire on that day, and also the end of Hebrews 12 mentions, that is how that 'change' at the twinkling of an eye to the "spiritual body" will happen for everyone still alive on earth. Those still alive on that day of Christ's coming will be like waking up from a dream at that change, and immediately they discover their "spiritual body" manifested.

For the wicked still alive on earth during that 'change', they will suffer God's vengeance 'spiritually', and wake up in shame. Some will actually be fully destroyed on that day, like the 7,000 mentioned in Revelation 11, which I believe will be Satan's angels that will come to earth for the "great tribulation".

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The scripture above is in perfect agreement with Jesus being revealed in fire and brimstone as seen below (Then Cometh The End) as all the unsaved wicked are destroyed at the Lord's return

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The resurrection of "All" is seen below and the wicked are judged to eternal damnation, this is when the "Final Judgement" takes place (The End)

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

 Jesus clearly taught that the resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day" this is in perfect agreement with the scripture above

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

The Day of judgment is that Last Day of this world-age, at the return of Christ. Much on that Day of the Lord is spoken of also in the OT scriptures. It results in perdition for the ungodly, an everlasting destruction of the wicked in fire, they and the earth will be burned with fire when Christ returns.

The Day of the Lord​
