Why are you comparing the Old Testament with what's going on today? They're two totally different things. First of all, we live in the age of the New Covenant. We're not going by Mosaic law anymore, are we? And if everyone is under the New Covenant that would mean these Jews as well, right? Or do you think they have a separate special plan from God, like another Covenant or something?

I think that's the main problem. Jesus tells us to love our neighbor. He forbids murdering of the innocent especially children. Why in the world would you say those things?
Good, you have identified the riff.

Which is not divided by the Old Testament or Covenant, or the New. It is divided by the flesh and the spirit, the natural and the spiritual--of which each of those ministries by Word and Covenants alludes to. Contrary to the divide as many believe and you likewise have stated it, Paul snuck in a hint not meant to be fully realized until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Which is: "we who are alive and remain"--a phrase that encompasses the entire age of those born again of the spirit of God since Pentecost--as we who are alive in the Spirit, but remain in the flesh and in the world until the passing of the flesh, occurring throughout many generations.

The point being, Yes, we, like those under the Old Covenant and the writings of the Old Testament, do indeed live as they lived under the law of sin and death upon the flesh--as we too have bodies of flesh and live in the world as they also did. So, yes, we also go out to war and the shedding of blood, even though we also carry the firstfruits of the Spirit unto the end. This is what is meant by "And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land." Which speaks of Christ--and "remaining" in the world, it is we who are His who "in Christ" are "his left foot"--left in the world to finish the work of Christ among the Gentiles.

And now you are among the first to know.
