Hi Revelation_night,What church are you going to?Do you speak in tongues or pray in tongues?Do those in your Bible study or in your church speak in tongues or pray in tongues?Does anyone teach another baptism of the Holy Spirit as eveidence with tongues? That may be the precursors in the trouble you are getting if your church or Bible Study group or someone among you is practising a departure from the faith in seeking another spirit other than the One already received as promised for coming to Jesus. If that be the case, I have scriptures to share with you to rest in Him. The key is to rest in Him and not chase after the "Holy Spirit" since He is in you. Matthew 9:17Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.John 6: 35And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.Ephesians 1: 12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, 14Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Galatians 3: 14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. It is an adulterous generation that seeks after a sign for the Holy Ghost as signs are for unbelievers. We rest in Jesus that we have received the promise of the Holy Spirit by faith. In any event, ask Jesus for discernment if you are involved in something that allows this to happen like... opening yourselves up to the "Spirit" or to listen to "Him". We are edified through the Word so as far as voices are concerned, if it demands you listen to them about stories of the spiritual realm, believe God would have allowed you to be taken up and show you like some of the saints were in the Bible have been done. God is God, and He would have foreseen your reluctance to believe by having you taken up instead of wasting three years to get you to listen to some "angel of light". There isn't any more important information that is needed for our faith except through the King James Bible that the Lord would just as well , lead you to read and thereby be edified in the knowledge of Him so that your love may abound yet more and more.If they don't go away, then if it was me, as I am sure many would recommend not talking to them, but then Jesus spoke to the devil and put him to silence by the scriptures so... If it was me and they still persist, I would argue, "Do not bother telling me about the spiritual realm for I shall soon know all things when Jesus takes me Home. What need I to know of such things down here? Rather, I shall read the Word of God and trust Jesus to help me abide in Him. This is probably your fiery trial to try you. Stand firm in the Word and be steadfast in the faith that is in Jesus Christ.1 Peter 4: 11If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. 12Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.1 Corinthians 10: 12Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 13There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. 14Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.2 Timothy 3: 10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience, 11Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me. 12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. 13But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. 14But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; 15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.1 Peter 4: 17For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? 19Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator. So place your trust in the Lord. Maybe all of this are just winds of the storm as you look to Jesus to walk on that water towards Him through that storm. If ever you lose sight of Him to look at the winds and sink, just do as Peter did and ask the Lord for help to ignore the winds of the storm again and keep your eyes on Him.Matthew 14: 28And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. 29And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. 31And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. When we come Home, into that ship, the wind shall cease indeed. Count on that.
