Orthodox:Orthodox = conforming to the usual beliefs or established doctrine; especially in religion; proper, correct or conventional; conforming to the Christian faith as formulated in religious creeds and confessions.I have heard it said, by some, that their beliefs are the "orthodox" beliefs of the Church. What does this mean?It is and attempt, on their part, to say that their opinions are the correct ones and all that have a different opinion are not the correct ones. If you say your opinions are orthodox then by implication the opinion of another, that is different, is not.Whether a person's beliefs are orthodox, or not, is in the mind of those that think their opinion is in the main stream of Christian thought. As you can see it is still just a matter of opinion and everyone has an opinion. --- The RCC thinks their opinion is orthodox; so does the Greek Orthodox Church and most of the Protestant denominations. But that does not make any of them orthodox. The point is that it is easy to claim your opinions are the orthodox ones.
