Yes, our nation, founded on religious freedom and freedom in general is going into the ditch... the sewer, whatever... and people just keep rambling on about silly things, like how important Greek is in understanding God's Word...

well, i can see why that would be important to people who do not have a cohesive, comprehensive religious faith... but i don't find it important at all

Christians are being persecuted in Syria, Iran and all throughout the world and... again, people concern themselves w/ things that ultimately of no real importance.. not comparatively speaking anyway..

And yes, we can be confused about whom we want to lead our nation... but to me there is only ONE choice.

the liberals are Godless...

the Republicans are not...

If we must have a liberal, Johnson is the one, but i don't want any of them in office... People who do not get involved w/ politics because they think it sullies their soul or soemthing... that is really irresponsible..

Anyone who REALLY loves Jesus will try to change whatever little part of the world he can change..

There is always something one can do to change the world... it may seem like a drop in the ocean but... God knows the limitations you have...

The scriptures tell us, that WE WILL RETURN TO THE DAYS OF NOAH, where people leave God out of their thoughts. There is a lot of ungodliness taking place by both major parties during this election process. How often do you hear either party speak of GLORIFYING GOD? They are self-centered. They don't really care about those who are in need [throughout the world]. They are more concerned about 'winning the election'. The problems faced by nations throughout the world, are mostly due to their own ungodliness. It is written, that the end times will be fearful times. We have been in the end times for a long time, as even Christ said so, 2,000 years ago. Prophecy will be fulfilled, no matter what we do. Decision-making is often based on 'fighting fires', as we see with ISIS and home-grown terrorism, or natural disasters, which disrupt the best of plans. There are too many people in the world, with not enough wealth and resources to go around. The planet is polluted; religions are all over the map; countries have citizens of most other nations in the world, mixed with different laws, education, languages, cultures, races, and so on; and illicit drugs have spread like wildfires, killing and sickening the populations of the world.

Most countries are facing the problems associated with aging populations, and massive debts/deficits. Technology has reduced the dependence on manual and clerical labour, leaving a large percentage of the population without jobs that provide for a decent living. Society in general, may be at a 'breaking point'. Is the new 'norm' going to be worldwide lawlessness? Who knows?

looks like you believe t he PC garbage we are coerced to believe

the world is NOT overpopulated. We are at below ZERO population growth in the USA, have been for yrs.. Pretty soon the young people will get tired of all the old people and seek euthanasia.. which is already legal in 3 states or more

Saying the world is over populated is just an excuse for the amoral elitists to push abortion and euthanasia.. Liberals are liars... They couldn't care less about the truth.. or about others. They live for themselves... and they spread this lying nonsense about being overpopulated

we are not even replacing ourselves...

To those people who are living in the cities, it may seem like the world is overpopulated because you are all crammed on top of each other like fish in a sardine can. But if you just take a joy ride once in your lives outside of the city limits, you will see tons of empty space that goes on for thousands of miles. Its all perception management, and this garbage about overpopulation would have never worked had they not have gotten the vast majority of the populace of the entire freaking planet to squeeze their anuses into these enclosed factory towns. So the conclusion is simple, "overpopulation" is absolute hogwash. For those who wish to believe the world is overpopulated, do the world a favor and kill yourself. Someone is going to have to die to solve this apparent problem, and it ain't gonna be me.

Still this beautiful planet that God created could sustain this world’s population, if only we followed the Biblical teachings about greed vs. good stewardship, justice and sharing.
If the story of The Rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31) is anything to go by, all of us in the rich Western world are indeed doomed. Our only hope lies in Matthew 19:23-26:
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”
25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

religions are all over the map; countries have citizens of most other nations in the world, mixed with different laws, education, languages, cultures, races, and so on
“The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you; you shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.” (Leviticus 19:34)

You just don't get it. Countries are filled with 'Trojan Horses', today. Technology has spread throughout the world, so that no one country can dominate. The costs associated with modern warfare, can bankrupt a nation, and leave destruction/devastation in its wake, so great, that plants and animals cannot survive. The land becomes uninhabitable.

There is so much fertilizer and pesticides being used, to enhance crop growths, that the taste of many vegetables has diminished. There is very little 'flavour' left in the produce, and the pesticides are unhealthy. The U.S. is unique in many ways, with oceans on both coasts, and the country itself, spanning different temperatures/weather north/south, providing for longer growing seasons. However, the treasures of the country have been wasted, leaving the country debt-ridden. Too many times, the NATO nations have had to come to the aid of other world countries, depleting the treasures of the NATO nations, and driving them into debt. The human sacrifices have been great, as well. Then you have to deal with the humanitarian and re-building costs. Nothing gets solved. History repeats itself, whether it be with the same participants, or new ones. The major problem now, is it is difficult to establish who your enemies are. It is not like the two world wars. Your enemies are your neighbours, and they aren't wearing uniforms to identify themselves. The availability of very powerful explosives is unbelievable, when you consider the ingredients can be purchased at your local hardware and grocery stores. It only takes a few people to maim/kill many, and cause major infrastructure damage, gridlocking sections of your cities.

Much of the U.S. and many other nations, cannot be used to grow food, or raise livestock, for one reason or another. The populations of the nations of the world have been increasing, steadily, but land remains roughly the same size. Pollution, however, has made some of the land and waters, deadly for human/plant/animal life, and this is steadily increasing. In order to survive in great numbers, people live in areas where life-sustaining needs can be filled. This creates very large populations in certain locations within every country, and sparse population in other parts of the country. It is just a fact of life, and has always been so. The farther people live from the major centres, the more costly it is, and the fewer the services and opportunities, there are.

And so on....................

I’m afraid you are kidding yourself if you think Nato or the US ever engaged in wars to “aid” people. The West never had the slightest problem to install and support vicious dictators as long as they served our interests. Our politicians lead wars to feed the master they serve: Mammon (the interests of global capitalism, the weapon’s industry, oil industry …)
What should a Christian response be? Go shopping for ever more stuff, even if it’s produced under miserable conditions for both workers and the environment? Put the US (Britain, Germany, France … ) first whilst grabbing as much of the world’s remaining resources as we can? Build walls to protect us from those who flee the wars and poverty that our trade and military politics have caused? Or love every single human being in the way Jesus loves every single human being: irrespective of race, ethnicity, religion and social status? Which would call us to international solidarity with the poor and oppressed.

yeh, i have had that same thought, that if these human-hating, earth-worshipping idiots want the world to be free of people, why don't they show a "good" example by being the first to off themselves... but no, they want US, the little people, the blue collars, etc.. to off ourselves and leave the world to them, the elites.. the loony ones who say climate change is a bigger threat than ISIS!!

people actually believe that the liberals care about the little people!!! ha ha... what a joke

unbelievable how easily duped some are...

the liberal elite couldn't care less (or any liberals..)... all they care about is numero uno. It is the Christians who love others (try to) as themselves (and even all of them do not do that)... People who love others as they love themselves (or try to) are definitely in the minority...

hey, how about this: Christian Lives Matter

"earth-worshipping idiots"? What an odd view for a Catholic! Don't you know your Church's stance on climate change and the protection of God's creation?

"Pope Benedict XVI and Saint John Paul II further deepened the Church’s long engagement with ecology. Saint John Paul II reminded us that all of Creation reflects the love of the Creator and should be treasured. Pope Benedict XVI, known as “the Green Pope,” brought urgency to the question of how our Catholic principles should shape our climate future."
http://www.catholicclimatecovenant.org/catholic_teachings/pope_benedict_XVI_st_john_paul_II

“Pope Francis’s encyclical on ecology and climate change may be the first of its kind, but the ideas expressed within it flow from the deep well of Catholic teaching about ecology.
Catholics put love at the center. Love for God’s people, and especially for the most vulnerable of our sisters and brothers, is at the core of Catholic teaching on the environment. We are called to live justly on God’s Earth.“

The Zionist controlled USA government is on the course of implementing the world government...aka globalization...the USA has used illegal wars against Iraq and Afghanistan to further these goals, and has created ISIS and other such barbaric organizations to further destroy stabilization in these areas...Who are thest globalist puppetmasters who control the USA? Look at the top people with dual citizenship Israeli first, then American...these bureaucrats are very powerful and actually dictate the direction the USA political ambitions are directed....the President? Nope he is just a sad little puppet...under control of the "Jewish connection" Wolfowitz, Perle, Kissinger, to mention but a few...
If you think these people are sympathetic toward the USA read their Talmud book which they follow...see what they really think of non Jews and in particular Christians...they place us in the same league as animals..oh well research it for yourself, and when you see a horrific event like 9/11 look behind the scenes of who actually perpetrated the crime and why..it sure isn't Arabs/Muslims

Since when was this nation not in hell? At what point in history was America, or any other nation for that matter at some high point that you would want to live in? Its always been hell, especially for those of a certain skin color. Whats happening now is the pretense of the American dream and of it being a christian nation is falling flat on its face. The only time that humanity was at a high point was with the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, because we know that with Jesus we have real hope of an infinitely better future than this current fallen world.

Right on jaybird, not to mention Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld involvement in the controlled demolition of the twin towers and bldg 7 of the WTC which cost 3000 lives, and countless thousands in Afghanistan and Iraq...and Bush said he is a "christian"...hmnmmm
