I was asking what is the gospel about that Paul and the other apostles preached, to clarify what you know it is. For it cannot be denied that there are, among the people called “Christians”, who knows differently what the gospel is about. Anyway….

Many seems not to realize, if not easily forget, what the gospel that the apostles preached is about and is not about. That it is not about the people, what people must do to save themselves or to get saved or to be saved unto eternal life and not suffer hell. That it is about God, the salvation of God; about Jesus Christ, what He had done to save His people, the people whom the Father had given to Him to raise up at the last day unto eternal life. That it is about what God, in the person the Father, of the Son Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, had done to save His chosen people, chosen in Christ, in view of His promise to Abraham. This that God had done, the results of which to this day continues to unfold.

The preacher read that scripture to me, I saw a little video of a hand holding a sword thrust out from a curtain and plunge it into my belly and I've believed it ever since. I believe it saved me!
