What Scripture was Paul referring to? Is the Second Covenant Text Scripture? I believe they are Scripture. However, I also believe some believers are off balanced in their prospective of how each applies and contributes to the life and knowledge of a believer. I include myself in this crowd. However, I want a better angle and understanding of Scripture and its application. 2 Tim 3 14 You, however, continue R154 in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from R155 childhood you have known the R156 sacred writings which are able to give R157 you the wisdom that leads to salvation R158 through faith which is in Christ R159 Jesus. 16 All R160 Scripture is inspired F29 by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training F30 in righteousness; 17 so that the R161 man of God may be adequate, equipped R162 for every good work. What was Paul identifying as the inspired Scripture? How was this Scripture to be used from Paul's interpretation? To Paul what was Scripture? How is this contrasted and compared to Matt 5:17 and 2 Pet 3:14-16.
