Hebrews 12:1b-2a (NASB)
and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, .....

“and perfecter of faith”
This is that for which Christ is striving for;
‘The faith of one’s heart to be made perfect’
For if the faith of one’s heart is made perfect, all things are that persons... For one’s faith can move mountains, be they physical, emotional or spiritual.... All things are possible to him who has faith.... So faith in God is the most valuable thing there is to possess...
But to rejoice even more, for by the grace of God, this faith itself is brought about by God Himself, for He is the author and perfecter of such....... For He does this by showing one their sinfulness and their lack of ability to change or remove that sinfulness.... So that they grab unto the salvation that is offered in Christ as a life line offered to a drowning man.... So then will nothing else matter to the heart that sees such but the grabbing onto this line with one’s whole heart and fixing their eyes on the one that has offered such help... So the eyes of one’s heart becomes fixed on Christ when it sees what it is to be freed from...
For if not, one is stuck drowning as it were, in their own sinfulness... And eventually being turned into that evil that their fallen nature has chosen to embrace... For all the damned are reprobates totally given over to their chosen sin...
For the salvation offered in Christ is real and it is to be appropriated in the time of this life...For it is the fall into the life of this world that is our separation from God, so this life is that that must be given up... And this can only be done by the faith of the heart turned towards God in the time of our sojourning in the body.. With purposeful-ness of heart being brought by the grace of God into such a life of willingness....
Looking off to Jesus by faith..... Oh what a wonder it is to see His hand at work in one’s life... To see this life-line played out in real time in one’s life...To learn that through the dying to self, is life and joy to be found.... Oh the blessedness of the dying and enduring ones cross and the giving up all to Christ with endurance and faith for the joy, by ones eyes being fixed on Christ.....
So that He might do His God thing and turn a sinner into a saint...
