[Luke 24:44 KJV] "And he said unto them, These [are] the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and [in] the prophets, and [in] the psalms, concerning me."
[Luke 24:45 KJV] "Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,"
[Luke 24:46 KJV] "And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:"
[Luke 24:47 KJV] "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

Jesus opened the disciples understanding of scripture. Jesus told them it is written that Jesus would suffer and rise the third day. Then did he say, now go and preach how I died and rose for the salvation of all? What did Jesus say to preach? He said to preach that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in HIS NAME. For salvation Israel had to believe in his name. They had to believe he was their Messiah, the Son of God.......[John 20:31 KJV] "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

Even after Jesus opened the understanding of his disciples, did Peter preach his death and resurrection for salvation? No, Peter preached to be water baptized in his name for the remission of sins.......[Acts 2:38 KJV] "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."..........Peter preached the name of Jesus for salvation.........[Acts 4:12 KJV] "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.".............Peter preached remission of sins through his name........... [Acts 10:43 KJV] "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."

Peter didn't preach Christ's death and resurrection for salvation to all after Jesus opened his understanding of scripture. Peter condemned Israel for Christ's death...........[Acts 2:23 KJV] "Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:"...........Peter didn't preach Christ's resurrection for our justification, but that Jesus rose to sit on David's throne.........[Acts 2:30 KJV] "Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;"

What you are teaching is false. Peter preached the death and resurrection of Christ. The text very clearly says that. You aren’t discovering something that has been concealed. You are turning a blind eye to what is right in front of you. Peter preached Christ’s death: “Him…ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain” ~Acts 2:23.

Peter preached Christ’s resurrection: “Whom God hath raised up…This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses” ~Acts 2:24,32.

Peter declared the saving conclusion: “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ” ~Acts 2:36.

You attempt to shrink resurrection down to throne room language, but Peter ties it to salvation and repentance. When people asked Peter what they should do he did NOT present them with an alternate gospel. He called them to REPENT in light of the crucified and risen Christ ~Acts 2:38.

Your whole argument falls apart in Acts 10. Peter preached to Gentiles that Jesus was killed and raised from the dead, and then said, “Whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins” ~Acts 10:39–43. That is death, resurrection, and salvation preached in a single sermon. There is no escape hatch for Israel only.

You divorce “the name of Jesus” from the cross and resurrection as if it were some magical formula. Scripture never ties it to Jesus’ resurrection from the dead. The name is short hand for the person and work of Christ. To call on His name is to call on the name of the crucified and risen Lord ~Romans 10:9–13.

I’m not just giving you difficult exegetical issues here. You are twisting Scripture to fit a doctrinal system you have imposed on the text.

Stop teaching falsely like you are. People are being deceived by it. It flat out contradicts the clear testimony of Scripture. Repent.

No even John says so...............[John 21:25 KJV] "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."..............but we can't make assumptions about what wasn't written to form doctrine.

I must say, because we read a translation, we are not getting the full meaning until we learn Greek. We must trust that Peter and the other apostles, that we don't read about, did what Jesus commanded them to do. As far as we know, they did.

Read what it says and not what you are reading into it.
Peter is condemning Israel of crucifying Christ, he isnt proclaiming what his death accomplished which was to forgive the sins Israel committed under the first testament

Peter preached Christ’s resurrection: “Whom God hath raised up…This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses” ~Acts 2:24,32.
Reading into it again. Peter is only saying he did indeed rise from the dead and they were witnesses
Peter didnt say Jesus rose for our justification he said Jesus was raised to sit on David's throne in the earthly kingdom.....................[Acts 2:30 KJV] "Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;"

[Acts 8:12 KJV] "But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women."

He preached water baptism for forgiveness of sin. This was John's baptism plus the Holy Spirit. This was the gospel of the circumcision.

We are to bear the name of Jesus.................[Acts 9:15 KJV] "But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:"
[Acts 9:20 KJV] "And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God."
[1 Corinthians 1:10 KJV] "Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment."
[1 Corinthians 6:11 KJV] "And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God."

Correct . however its easy to prove he Did .
Even in acts . Whom ye killed , WHOM GOD rose again .
In fact the one requirement for that new twelth apostle
would be he too had to be a witness of such an event .
This other fellow has no idea what he talks about my friend .
THEY all preached of Christ , and His ressurection and all things HE did teach .
people beleive the oddest things my friend .
But in quite a few places you will see of peter , john when speaking to the Jews
SPOKE of HIS ressurection . THAT was the main reason
the jews perseucted them . THEY PREAHCED THROUGH CHRIST the RESSURECTION .

Yes indeed my friend . its clearly seen . And paul himself would later preach the same identical message .
THEY all did . Very clear it becomes that MY people perish from lack of k nowledge .
People need to get in the bible again . To the trenches my friend , the hour is late and truth must be sounded out .

In his speech , that same speech HE TOLD them of This .
THEY all preached of it . and they all beleived it .
You simply dont want to admit these so called wise leaders who taught you wrong , WERE wrong .
But the evidence in the scriptures proves them wrong as well as you yourself to be in error .

“And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” (Acts 26:14)

The original Hebrew language here was translated and written in Greek by the inspired writer.

What “full meaning” do you suppose we are missing here?

Just get a full note NET bible and look at the translator notes and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can also get two translations and read them side by side. Like the NLT and Youngs Literal Translation.

look at the translator notes

All fine and dandy.

But they are just notes, nothing more.

The text stands without question.

get two translations and read them side by side

I have done that.

The King James Bible by far has the better renderings. The King James is stronger, clearer, and smoother. The newer versions are clumsy and pedantic.

As it is written in the original KJB preface:
Translation it is that openeth the window, to let in the light; that breaketh the shell, that we may eat the kernel; that putteth aside the curtain, that we may look into the most Holy place; that removeth the cover of the well, that we may come by the water

But you say no, translation does not open the window. You must be a window expert.
