Spectacular!!
God made beauty.

And to think, we see everything as through a glass, darkly...try looking even close to a high noon sun on a cloudless day...and THAT is only seeing it as through a glass darkly! And just imagine the flowers!

A little history

In 1961 I was in high school and we had traveled back to my hometown of Bonham Texas for Thanksgiving with my huge family that lived in Fannin County. It just so happened that the speaker of the house, Sam Rayburn, whose adopted hometown was Bonham, had died a few days before and his funeral was being held. Born in Tennessee in 1882, his family moved to Texas about 1887.

The town square was absolutely packed with people. I remember the secret service stopped my cousin who was running through the crowd. Seemed suspicious to them I suppose. I was pretty ignorant of the fact that I was witness to an historic event. There was almost solid humanity filling the square that day and no vehicle traffic would have been possible.

Four presidents attended that funeral and they are shown below at the chapel service. John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson (future president) , Ike Eisenhower who happened to be born just down the road in Denison, and Harry Truman. This I believe is the most presidents to ever be gathered together at one time. It's been man years but I'm sure I got a glimpse of some of the presidents as impromptu speeches and oration ms were being made on behalf of sieaker Sam.

I think we belong to the same club.
One day we'll disagree about something (I think), but that'll be OK!!

Ahahaha...I think we can count on that, I am sometimes (depending on the poster) a bit hesitant to reply lest I get barraged with a tomb worth of words, and a nasty attitude. Lol...yeah, I'm a chicken, lol.

You should always say what you think.
Sometimes I've had 3 and 4 persons against me, but I kept at it.
It's the only way to learn what others believe.
I do find persons on this forum to be very nice.
On some forums they're as tough as can be...
Especially calvinists ... they can be pretty mean.
Don't be a chicken!! I don't think you are from what I've seen...
