I just don't read those threads any more. I ignore them.
There are lots of none aggressive posts now. I just read those.
It makes it appear like a whole new forum.

In the few months I have been on here, I have noticed a certain"spirit" of things by the tone of the posts. There are days I like to be on here and days that can make me sad to be on here. It's like a "cyber mood" thing, lol.

This sunday morning we watched a great service at Family Worship Centre through their Facebook account.
Great preaching by Donny Swaggert and great praise and worship by their worship team.

We have big speakers hooked up and I also connected a large screen to my laptop computer.

I used to read every thread , but not any more.

Starting to find it a waste of time and there are more important things in my life.
In general all Christian Forums are now the same.

But The Apostolic Friends Forum seems to be ok most of the time.
I learned a lot there.

Who needs to read insults from people you don't know or ever will meet and are 1000's of miles away.
I don't.

Well , your life is 'bigger' than my life. My life has shrunken through ill-health. I believe very much in healing...and it being for today.
But I cannot just "wait for it".
So this place is my playground as it were.
It keeps my brain cells occupied ..and I can't ride a motorbike.
So here I am .

Well , your life is 'bigger' than my life. My life has shrunken through ill-health. I believe very much in healing...and it being for today.

Yes, I can see that.

Mind you I went through a few terrible health issues myself.
Open heart surgery 15 years ago.
Almost 2 years ago now I went through a few issues.
They revived me 7 times. (I think I posted that story here.)
It's been a recovery which I call a miracle.
Went to see the "Heart Doctor" 2 weeks ago and did a scan in the hospital.....he told me come back in January.
So, that's good news.

Been touring motorcycle and motorhome and now we have listed our house at the lake (to remote now for my liking. Been here 22 years.)
Planning on building or buying in a small town (20.000 people)

Wow...so early! We have been unseasonably cold here for the last few days. It is actually 59% today! We are usually somewhere in the mid 70's. I hope that smoke is clearing out by you Helen!

How long have the rocks been there? Was it necessary once they were in place to form a base of soil on which the moss could grow?

Not at all, I was asking a genuine question.
I looked at the photo for ages, trying to see little animals of even a couple of beavers that had made their home there...
Then I wondered what Amadeus was seeing and I couldn't, that had 'been there' a long time!!

I missed the significance that moss takes a long time to grow...Amadeus "filled in the blanks" for me. My brain works slowly these days.

Yes there is a form of Moss called Lykin that takes forever to spread on rock's, very thin and tough! looks more like the white spots on the rocks
