It is not as easy to do as some make out. This is because our flesh is sinful and doomed to die. Paul had a struggle with his flesh and had to realise that it was only his faith in the finished work of Christ that justified him before God, and that he needed to continually battle to keep his flesh under control to be able to continue walking in the Spirit.
