I can't say that for myself I never add to what the Lord says, but trust him and don't give up working on it!

Oh my gosh!!! You mean,.. you can hear and understand His voice too!?! Let me ask you something, have you had unexplainable things happen to you as well? Things that the Lord told you and you've known about before you heard it from the person that it's about? If you don't mind sharing it with me that is because that happened to me twice now. Once with a person in real life and once with a person on this forum. I could tell you more but I'm not sure if anybody would actually believe me but the person on here could vouch for it.

Yes! The Holy Spirit leads us. It happened to me many times. I have had LOTS of unexplainable things.

It's the Lord's love. And I think he has spoken to lots of us at one time or another so I think that people would understand if you did talk about it.

Oh really? Have you ever had things like this happen? The Lord told me that He was there with my boyfriend's mother when she suffered two miscarriages and being molested as a child before she even confirmed this for me herself. He also told me about another member's situation on here,.. I don't want to name him actually in case he doesn't want this to be known,.. but to be vague,.. his son was having romantic relationship and room mate problems and the Lord told me that he was there for him Himself. Both of those said people were acting as if they saw a ghost because there's absolutely no other explanation that we can think of.

I think the biggest problem is that I don't think anybody here can even begin to understand how badly I want this and how much it means to me.

Of course we can't fully understand April but know it is important to you and you are building your hopes on success.

Yes, I told my mother she was going to have a baby boy before she knew she was pregnant. (I didn't know about her relationship either.)

I knew about a relationship about seven years before we even communicated. I knew about lots of things. I can't really think about much off of the top of my head right now, but God is faithful!

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

When these things happen, we give God the glory, it is because God exists and he wants us to help them! Because he loves us and them!

Holy cow!! When God talks to you is it more of a voice inside your head or is it audible? I have experienced both before but mostly it's the first one for me. :)

He does whatever he wants. Lol! When I went to the store on Saturday, I was walking around and decided to go look at the jeans. (remember that Mennonite attire?)

And I heard a voice in my head say clearly "Praise the Lord! Change!" I thought something, I panicked because I thought I was under attack or something. Then I heard clearly, "No, I'm teaching you!"

So I got jeans.
And I threw out the Mennonite clothes.

They were part of my lesson in humility for a while but now he's working with me on other things and getting things straightened out.

The thing is though, when I hear His voice in my head,.. it's different than hearing my own voice. For those thoughts are not my own. They can't be when I hear things in there nobody else has ever said a word about before lol but He wants you to know right now that you are a beautiful and remarkable person and that you are still a beautiful person no matter what you wear He just has your best interests at heart. :)






He also told me that if He didn't believe that I had the power for greatness then He wouldn't have given me the inspiration for the character of DJ. For I'm doing His work whether I realize it or not with the talent that He gave me, and He wants me to show the world everything that I can be for it is everything that He wants me to be for He decided it the moment of my creation before birth. :)

Also God's voice is the most softest, and docile voice I ever heard before in my life and His love for His children is definitely to the extreme. For He truly is a God that rocks,.. and yes it's true that He can be crazy sometimes after all being silly isn't a sin and I was made in His image so it only fits that He can be just as crazy as I can.

Lol He must be in His silly mood. He just agreed with "darn right" and "keep on rocking" which are two of DJ's catchphrases. Lol His sense of humor is so cute sometimes.

We're sort of getting off topic now but isn't that truly amazing? God has told me Himself quite a few times actually that He would love just to have a conversation with everybody, but not everybody is willing to open their mind and ears and listen. Sometimes I think we expect Him to answer us in a certain way (like I first did for it being audible) and completely miss out on what He's trying to tell us.

God is the God of love, peace, happiness and blessed assurance.

When having negative thoughts, and you realize you've entered into that , stop.
Don't let that negative go further. Instead pause and.look to see where it homes from. Then ask ad God would, "what can love do here?"
Because love is a deeply powerful positive. And it can do a lot to vanquish the negative. And love feels better to.:)

Though too there is a purpose for the negative at times. That is where discernment through experience comes in.

The only thing within your control are your thoughts. Think about that for a few minutes!

So when they tend towards the negative, focus on the last days of Christ -- what is known as Passion Week. And go all the way to the resurrection and ascension of Christ.

Take each Gospel account and put it beside all the others. Then harmonize these account to develop a comprehensive understanding of what Christ accomplished on earth. That will get your eyes off yourself and your problems, and fully focused on the Lamb of God.

It really depends on what negative thoughts your having. There are different solutions to different thoughts.
