prayer about last night's encounter

I had an encounter with a member whose name I will not post but whose name is not what HE IS. HE IS NOT GRACEFUL OR PEACEFUL. His yelling at me was uncalled for and he was mean. I pray for protection from him. I feel disturbed by last night's encounter with this person. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post this but I am not mentioning any names but I am mentioning how I feel. Perhaps he has trust issues but he shouldn't be doing that and insulting and accusing me.

Praying for your protection, and that the Lord would move upon the heart of the one who accosted you in such a way. Mayflower has given good advice, I would recommend doing what she advises.

I think I know who you are referring to, and you're right, he's not very gracious or peaceful in his posts a lot of the time. I have spoken to him about this, to no avail.. I think his posts express some decent theology, but his conduct - particularly as a new member - witnesses against whatever good doctrine he teaches at this stage in his walk.

Since it doesn't seem to register with him when I have advised him against using insults and abrasive language, if he has to be reported then so be it. Hopefully he embraces a spirit of correction and realizes that his behavior is not acceptable.
