No matter who is in power, it is a perception rather than a reality.
Presidents come and go, but how much to they affect ones everyday life?

On major events it is obviously a direct connection, but general policy is often only 1 or 2 % of GDP is being talked about.
If one is dependent on government rebates, support etc then it can have a direct affect.

I am fairly isolated from these affects, so I watch the waves come in and then go out again. In the Lord are we tossed by the lives and wants of others or do we stay focused on Him?

I agree that in the past this has certainly been true. But we have had an unprecedented collision of events and an unprecedented move to destroy a president and replace him. It is also an unprecedented moves over the last 6-8 years to the left in this country by one party. An blatant attempt to wreck the Constitution and turn this country into something it was never intended to be.

It's not the simple wickedness of one man that is the concern. We have had wicked presidents in the past.

It's the wickedness of the political construct that is in the Democrat party that is in play here. And while there has been a slow move in the past it has exponentially sped up. The riots, the lies, the attacks the support of sinful behaviors, the woke movement the condemnation of one race, the shutting down of churches, while bars are let open, the threats of court packing all of this and more is wickedness of the far left that has become mainstream.

Let’s list the reasons why the democrats are communists.

1. Communists have a propaganda machine.
Check…the fake news media. Organized deception of the public. They tell you what they want you to believe.

2. Communists attempt to control all communication.
Check…High tech social media. Censoring out non-communists.

3. Communists do not have the value of life that Christians have.
Check...8 million babies murdered in ten years….genocide is common in communist countries. Nazi holocaust and such.

4. Communist countries disarms the populous.
Check...Democrats say they intend to confiscate guns.

5. Christianity does not do well in communist countries.
Check….Burning Bibles and churches. Passing laws to prevent church services while supporting if not directing huge murderous mobs. Taking the phrase “under God” out of the national anthem and proposing to take the phrase “In God We Trust” off our currency. Outlawing religious monuments in public.

6. Communist countries rule by fear.
Check….Corona virus came from China and the democrats have ran a campaign of fear and intimidation. And at the same time have put down the cure and or proposed vaccines. There have been 241,000 deaths in US due to the Chinese Corona Virus, most of that was caused by the democrats desire to proliferate the virus by running a campaign against the medicine that could prevent it and treat it in the early stages. All in all they are probably responsible for over 200,000 deaths...just to promote their agenda…and they are willing to kill a lot more.

7. The play book for how to turn America into a communist country…#1 Take control of the voting system. #2 Make the populous dependence on the government. One of the first steps to obtain this goal is to destroy the economy, than bring the country up with people dependent on the government.
Check….Shutdown the country using the democrat proliferated Corona virus as an excuse. Then raise taxes and raise the price of commodities across the board, but specifically things like gas and electricity, using the Green Religion as an excuse. Support open borders so a flood of illegal immigrants can drain the welfare and social systems. Cause disruptions in society, support the criminal element and murderous protests and call them peaceful. The fake news was particularly helpful in this effort. Coddle illegal aliens with sanctuary cities and revolving door courts.

8. Communist countries want government controlled schools.
Check…The left has been controlling the public schools for decades and now vigorously opposes school choice. Taking school prayer and the National Anthem out of our schools and teaching our kids atheism and communism and acceptance of homosexuality. Homosexuality is one evil that even most Communist countries balk at.

9. In communist / socialist countries that have elections the ballots are so skewed that you can never be sure of the validity of the outcome. In these elections the only thing you know for sure is that it is fraudulent favoring one particular party.
Check…We are living it and have been for some time.

10. Communists and socialists categorically do not like capitalism.
Check…ie democrats.

11. Social programs in communist and socialist countries are common…ie…healthcare…education…welfare…food stamps …etc. It is advertised as “free” but none of it grows on trees so the public "those that work" are in one fashion or another being billed for it and in the process have their freedoms taken away.
Check…As you can see the democrats have been edging us in this direction for decades.

There are many things I like about Trump, and several things I don't. One thing in his favor is that our own Prime Minister, who is one with the elites of this world, doesn't like him. (Can't remember who that was now...NZ 2016... Before JA.)
But my gravest fear is that he will be used by the Christian evangelical church and the right wing to legislate Christian doctrine. The moment he does that, he will have created an apostate Protestant version/image of the papal beast, the church/state union of the dark ages. (See Revelation 13)
Moral laws uniquely Christian do not work by government enforcement. Legislation must be followed by penalties. It is not the government's prerogative to penalize anyone in their chosen lifestyle in relation to their Creator. John Williams had it right. America, do not go back to those days prior to the constitution and bill of rights when the puritans find, whipped, and even put to death any who disregarded their legalist demands, such a retrograde step will result not in a Christian revival, but in a national trampling upon the religious freedoms of others, which God will judge. Let individual people stand before God for their own religious convictions, whether good or evil, but if you allow the nation to dictate conscience, your nation shall stand in judgement before God.

..seriously though, your presentation is logical. Coerced and enforced spiritual beliefs as a State ran mandated program will greatly diminish the notion that this country was born out of the love for God and his Son to provide safe haven from persecution and evil, from the shores of Europe.

The persecutions will begin all over again, not from Europe this time, from their own lands.
