Sorry Mungo just trying to help. That link I gave you is directly to his profile page where you can PM him, but if it's not giving you that option then I guess you'll have to wait for him to come back and who knows when he's coming back.

The drop down box does not have an option "Personal Messenger".

It has:

• My Profile
• My Settings
• My Content
• Content I Follow
• Manage Friends
• Manage Ignore Prefs

And that's it!

It's not called 'private messaging'. It's called 'Start a Conversation'.

Click on your name under your avatar and a dialogue box will come up. One of the options is: 'Start a Conversation'. Click that and away you go. You put a topic in the place allocated and then write your message.

You send and away you go.

I'll now start a conversation (PM) with you to show that it works.

No, mate! You access the private message (start a conversation) that I sent you through your 'inbox' at the top of this page. You should have a red #1 there to indicate you have a new message.

All 'start a conversation' posts are private and don't go to the public forum. You can bring other people into the conversation if you want, but we won't go into that now.

Why don't you click on your 'inbox' and see the private 'conversation' I've started with you and reply to me?
