It's all about having a humble, obedient attitude to God's Word (and not about whether a guy should wear earrings or how many pairs a woman should wear). Always we need to get behind the spiritual lesson of the passage of Scripture.

Why don't we all use the manners and grammar and language of the time when Jesus walked planet Earth then? Would that give us an advantage over anyone else? When was it the first man spoke English?

Thanks, I do appreciate the heads up.

I guess I would first have to read and understand what a "progressive Christian" is to even begin to understand. My mind soaks too slowly so I'll leave it alone until someone simply says what it is supposed to be... if then.
