Putin vs Obama - Who is the more righteous? Who is the more biblically and theologically sound?

My pick, without any hesitation... Is Vladimir Putin

I almost voted Putin even though I have no knowledge of his beliefs, based solely on my utter disdain for O'bama (Since he's hidden his birth certificate I declare him Irish. No offense to any Irish board members).

Before I vote, can you give me a brief summary of his beliefs ?

I'm sorry, I know as Christians we are to keep up with world events. But I have had my plate kind of full as of late in my own little neck of the woods, so it's been kind of impossible to read World News.

I feel bad about that fact.

Neither is a good vote! In which we have the third option. Obama's tough stance pro homosexuality really has a lot of people, including Putin, wondering if the United States is not going pure evil...

I see Obama Sodom and Gomorrahizing the US. By the time he's through a good many's conscience will be seered with the hot iron of the Nicolaitanes.

I think the question is misleading. It should ask 'who is more respected'?

The runaway winner of such a poll would be Mr. Putin I think. One can respect a man without necessarily liking him or wishing to emulate him. Mr. Obama looks better when he poses on television, but Mr. Putin is a more effective and respected leader. My problem is what the Russian is trying to effect, but one must admit that he gets the job done. That much cannot be said for Obama.

Observing POTUS O's foreign policy is rather like watching a baby play with a hammer. You know there won't be a happy ending.

The idea of putting the word righteous in that same sentence as the name of either man is absurd if not overtly disgusting. No man is righteous except Christ.

I am righteous. Jesus gave me his righteousness. Mine was stained with pizza sauce, cola, and chocolate. But his is oh so white. :wub:

Nobody is righteous. Not a single soul.

Mixing politics and religion is like trying to mix oil and water. The engine may run for a while on the oil, but sooner or later it will choke on the water.

IF advancing one's country is more important than advancing the private agenda of a specific ethnic group, then I suppose Mr. Putin would take the prize in that category as well. Mr. Obama, and the oligarchs who really rule America seem to either be in a great hurry to destroy this great nation or are gripped by a foolishness unheard of in recent history.

Once again America is first in a new category.
