Amillennialism, in and of itself, does not claim that Premils believe that Jesus stops reigning when the thousand years ends. You don't have to be an Amill in order to be familiar with scriptures like Isaiah 9:6-7 which teach that He will reign forever.
Jesus stopping His reign is not even relevant to Revelation 20 in the least little bit. Since His reign is eternal, it has no beginning nor end. Thus not relevant to Revelation 20.
Revelation 20 is a about a beginning and an end of a particular 1,000 year period of time. Not a symbolic time frame as Amil teach. Symbolism really has no definite beginnings nor endings.
