Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also  quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Quicken: transitive verb.
to make alive :
revive. : to cause to be enlivened:stimulate.
The oldest meaning of quicken, however, is "come to life,"

When we invite the Holy Ghost to fill our minds with light and knowledge, He “quickens” us, that is to say, enlightens and enlivens the inner man or woman. As a result we notice a measurable difference in our soul. We feel strengthened, filled with peace and joy, & have a deeper understanding of his word. We are more effective in sharing the gospel. We have power in our everyday walk and in our prayer life!

PSALMS 119:154 KJV
"Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word."

May we be made alive in Christ as we ask, seek & knock calling upon the name; the only name whereby we ARE SAVED!........JESUS. Amen!

JOHN CHAPTER 6 KJV
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
***63 It is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.***
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 15
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
***46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.****

Amen!

Colossians 2:13-14 When you were dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our sins, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

Very good, yes. It’s the flesh that is cut off, discarded, left behind, returned to the ground to decompose and disappear, while the spirit is set free, unbound and awakened to life— the son/seed returning to the Father’s house.

Yes.

Yours is the Final answer. Ritajanice.

Because.....If God didn't deal with ALL sin ... 2 Corinthians 5:19...............then the Cross of Christ only dealt with SOME., as some heretics who dont understand the Blood Atonement, seem to believe.
So....in THAT case.....if only some of our sin is forgiven, then the rest isn't..... and we are still UNFORGIVEN.

"Christ is the one time ETERNAL Sacrifice for SIN" "sin" = Plural = ALL.

Salvation is not a part time redemption, its a completed redemption for ALLtime.

Jesus said.........From the Cross.........>"IT..(Salvation) is Finished".

He didn't say........some of it. or , nearly all of it.

To be spiritual one must be quickened by the Spirit or made alive in him.

1 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 2 KJV
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are SPIRITUAllY DISCERNED.
