10 And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. - Romans 7:10
You do understand there is only one "the commandment." Not many 'one commandment' ..the many commandments came later. The only commandment that has ever meant anything to God is.. 'The commandment' that said ..do not eat from that tree because the day you do you will surely die. The Lord put death in that tree - the tree that was meant for life also had death in it.
The life that is in you will be death to you. That tree of life in you is the only life you have and when we choose as Adam did ..to live by my false life..death life..you will die...you are dead. There is no life in you..in your false self. That tree that was meant for life will be death to you..just as Adam died a spiritual death so will you. As a matter of fact you will never come alive - from the moment you believed, death has been working in you. No spiritual life ever.
Now the Lord see's you different because you have Christ in you and he does not depend on you for what He wanted from the foundation of the world (birthed children) ..by Christ in you for the completion of what he wanted. If you are to partake of that relationship (beteeen the Father and the Son) you will die and Christ is alive in you.
according as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: - Ephesians 1:4.
1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2 (for the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us
3 that which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. - 1 John 1:1-5.
As long as you live ..there is nothing in you the father has ever wanted - other than Christ in you. Can you hear that..there is nothing in you..nothing about you.. nothing you can ever do to be what God wanted.
You ever stop your busy day and look in scripture that is given to you! and see..there is something God wants.

Christian thinking is; God is so good to me..God is on my side and he sent his son to die for me and I'll worship him every now and then ..I'll miss hell and everything is ok."
In the mean time this world is grinding on them until they come out like grain at the mill..ground to powder by the world before they will surrender and see scripture like it is written! We love our life and don't know any better.
Like there was nothing God ever wanted..when truth is; there is nothing in you He ever wanted except 'Christ in you the hope of glory.' If we are to fit that..if we are to give to God the only thing He ever wanted..if we find our place in God; IT WILL NOT BE YOUR WAY. "There is a way that seemeth right to man..but the end thereof is death." There is no life in your self, the old devil self for self who you think you are.
Don't you understand you were like a little devil before Christ. Before you were born again you had a Satan nature. The literal offspring of Satan himself. I know that doesn't fit religion ..it will never fit man and their thinking..it does not matter..there is a gospel that backs up the message to you "the gospel Paul wrote and preached - it don't matter what people think. If you are going to live it will be by the one life in you. Other than that you have nothing to offer the Father.
Sure he will take care of you..but even then it is because you have Christ in you. Nothing in you he has ever wanted. He killed you..all in Adam dead as Jesus on that tree and if you are to live..it will be by His life which is; Christ in you the hope of glory! No other life accepted but the life of God which is; in Christ Christ Jesus!
Think on these things that you may have "life and that more abundantly." There is but one life that means anything to the Father and it is not your life. Believe and receive the life of God!
