Joseph, I had to use google to understand what you were trying to say. The Greek root word, G:5331 is transliterated as "pharmakeia" has the meaning of "medicine, drugs or spells" and its usage is often as "magic, sorcery, enchantment."

As for your reference, "(The Apocalypse 18)", it usage would have gone over many peoples heads. The reference you were make was to the Book of Revelation 18.

In other words, unless someone spent the time like I had to, to understand what you were probably trying to convey, they would have gone, "What the," and ignored what you were writing.
